The company isn't serious or professional.
Ordered a single bed, on the Web there was an option to put in preference of a time, I did.
Suddenly, I'm getting emails asking me to make 40 pound payment "Please reply back with payment confirmation so we can add this extra service with your order or if you prefer to proceed with your delivery without adding this extra service."
I looked at it & thought they are offering an additional service.
I ignored the email as I was available all day on Wed.
On Tue evening, I am getting a text saying
"We have sent you an email from support@.......co.uk regarding the payment of guaranteed delivery charges . Please check your email and reply back".
I replied immediately to the email saying "no additional time slot is needed - no payment due".
Only to find out the following dates that delivery was moved to Thursday!
Called the customer service who said someone will call me back immediately- no call. Instead, short abrupt emails blaming me for not replying to an email with the 40 payment request hence the bed wasn't loaded for delivery on Wed!
Customer service non existing! Would never recommend neither will buy another bed.
I am yet to see what will arrive & i have to take another day off!
Stay away from this unprofessional company!

Fast and efficient service. The ordering process was simple and informative. Easy to chose the various options for the beds, then everything confirmed before the order was processed. The information was then available on line to monitor progress. Once the order was ready for shipping I was kept fully informed by The Divan Centre and their chosen couriers and the delivery went smoothly. Beds are good quality for the money. Really pleased with the overall experience.

What amazing experience we have had. From ordering to updates in delivery absolutely spot on. We just put the bed up yesterday and my mum is delighted with her new bed. The colour is perfect and we are just so happy with the bed. Thank you so much.

ORDERED A SINGLE BED WITH TRUNDLE... FOR MY MUM TO STAY AFTER HER OPERATION, RANG UMPTEEN TIMES CHASING THE ORDER, KEPT GETTING THE EMAIL SENT TO ME FROM MY ORDER, FINALLY GET A DATE AND TIME ,14TH NOVEMBER 1600-1900 DELIVERY.. TO THEN GET AN EMAIL 16.10 SAYING DUE TO LOGISTICS IT WONT BE DELIVERED TODAY....NOW I HAVE TO MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS FOR MY MUM AFTER HER OPERATION

I’ve received 2 emails stating they’ve refunded my money on Friday asking to delete this post… I received my money 19th November, then get another email stating when you’ve received your refund please delete this post,
A harrowing time made worse by terrible customer service

The images and options were not displaying well online and so I called the helpline number, the man on the other end was incredibly rude and dismissive implying I was at fault despite the same issue in viewing options being there for many weeks.
I hung up and did not want to buy from them. They lost a sale and were highly unhelpful. I do NOT recommend

I ordered a bed on their website earlier this week. I added several improvement options. I felt confident as the website was professional and there were choices and a lot of information and the product is British made. However, not having heard about delivery a few days later I went into the customer poprtal I had created to check on the order, which was showing as in process. Then I received an email saying that I had not completed my order, although the money had been taken from the account. Reading the reviews caused me concern as even the good ones relate to how quickly issues are resolved indicating the product often comes without parts or damaged. Then I read the returns policy and found if there are issues it will cost an arm and a leg to return anything and it all has to be returned in original packaging or there is a cost incurrance. This has put me off the purchase entirely so I have emailed and tried to cancel. Whilst a response was received it was only to confrimation the order and did not address the concerns raised. Then I tried to phone and whilst the young girl was polite, she took all my details (name, phone, email, order number) but only so as this could be passed to the department. She could not confirm my order, tell me when delivery could be expected or cancel my order. I ended up requesting a cancellation but this has to be sent to the "department" so the phone call was as much a waste of time as the emails. I would not be recommending this company there is too much underlying small print and the process is far from seamless or convenient. I think it is better now to go and buy direct from a provider where you can see the goods and agree date and delivery.

I bought a grey 4'6" divan with four drawers and a headboard. I read reviews that said the grey material was more brown but that didn't deter me. The bed was delivered a few days later with no issue at all. Well packaged etc etc. The old saying "You get what you pay for" is very true and this bed reflects that. It's not a luxury made bed by any means but it does what I need it to do. If you're going to compete in the bedroom Olympics you might find the base will give way as it's not made from the most sturdy materials. The bottom of the drawers are very thin board that won't take much weight before it bows or breaks. That said I have filled them full of shoes and it's not caused any problems so far. The headboard is padded enough to look and feel decent quality. The base doesn't creak and fits my needs perfectly. For the price I paid I'd say I got value for money. On the colour debate I have grey carpet, grey bedding and accessories in the room and the bed is very much closer to brown than grey. If that will upset your feng shui then you better not purchase.

I ordered a plain divan base from this company. The base arrived swiftly however the delivery was such a quick turn around i was given no chance to check the product before the courier van left. The product was extremely poorly made, not square and very poorly finished with odd staples and tails of fabric exposed, not as advertised. The Company did offer a full refund after a discussion via email but I would not use the firm again.

The Bedcentre finally got in touch on Tuesday after several conversations and pointless emails. They agreed re-delivery the bed finally arrived yesterday afternoon. They also agreed to refund the express delivery amount which I paid at the time of purchasing the bed. Happy to say the refund hit my account this morning.

Very happy with the previous bed I had. Called to ask a basic question about the colours available. They had to call me back. The person who called back had a really appalling manner. He told me to go elsewhere just for literally asking questions about colour. He also said he's been selling these beds for years and he knows his job. I have no idea why he spoke to me the way he did. I asked him why he was acting offended. Instead of the normal customer service response of apologising and acting like you actually want to sell a bed, he just had a go at me saying that was just my perception and all the above things. I don't understand why asking a simple question caused such an awful response. It would have been better if the first person who answered the phone could have helped, or sent me an email as he said he would. But in any case, this man rang me back. As in, he picked up the phone at a time convenient to himself and rang me. He chose to ring me knowing I had questions. He was annoyed from the first moment he spoke to me before I even said anything. Such a bad attitude. I will take his advice and go elsewhere.

EDITED - the company called me to apologise and offer me a discount but I had already bought a bed elsewhere.

This company have great products at reasonable prices and worth every penny. The service has been excellent. If you are looking for a new bed this is the place to go to

Experienced a problem with one of the castors, after purchasing our zipped bed from Divan Centre about two years ago. Without quibbling the company posted three new castors out to us without charge. Thank you for a speedy service and your understanding.

Ordered a bed base from these guys, bed arrived promptly and unpacked, screwed legs on, threw mattress on and wheh ho off to sleep, seems good quality and dosnt creak like my old one so a bonus there! So far all is good, cheers

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I placed an order and had to ring twice for an update and left my details and no one has telephoned me back. When I ordered it said expected delivery was for the Tuesday or Wednesday the week after but heard nothing. Customer service is non existent

Excellent customer service (one of best I have ever experienced esp. on a Saturday morning!) My order arrived following Wednesday as requested (Yorkshire to Dorset). Good value too.

Ordered a zip/lock divan. Unfortunately, when it arrived two of the drawers had been damaged, presumably in transit. However, I contacted the company and they immediately agreed to send some replacement drawers. Got them the following week and all is fine.
Really impressed with the customer service and would definitely order from them again if I needed another bed.

Bought last week of January, bed frame is nice but paid extra for a deluxe mattress, I wouldn't say deluxe, the memory foam is so thin we are already feeling the springs after only a couple of months, the springs are also bulging at the sides, wouldn't even class it as the equivalent cheapo mattress from Argos let alone deluxe. If this is the best mattress they sell then I won't be buying again, will buy from a more reputable company.i guess it's true what they say that you get what you pay for, yeah a busted mattress after only a few months.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered a couple of divan beds from this company and I can honestly say there service and delivery is second to none . On both occasions they delivered within several days of ordering. During which time the communication was exellent including giving me a delivery time slot of 3 hrs on the day the beds were delivered Very handy !
The beds arrived and as before I was very happy with both items and at an extremely compedative price.
Both the driver and his helper were very friendly and carried both beds right to my door .
I would not hesitate in ordering from the divan bed centre again in the future .
