Great experience.
Great experience.I ordered a lift up storage divan base, I received a phone call the next day to confirm the order details and an expected delivery date. The base was delivered before the expected date and assembled by a very efficient team.
The new base is very sturdy and the storage capacity exceeded my expectations. One small issue is you have to be quite physically strong to close the lid, I'm hoping this will become a little easier with more use.

I ordered my new divan after my old one broke 11 days ago now and had been told we would receive in 10 days.
I have had an email 11 days after my order to tell me that they need to charge me an extra delivery fee and that part of the order is now out of stock.
How unprofessional can you get - I could have made alternative arrangements in this wasted time!
I would expect an urgent call to come in to me re my order not a casual email after I have emailed to chase them.
Please call me divan base direct to sort this out.
Very disappointing.
Not sure which way to turn now and I’m still bed less!

We do want to gently clarify a few things. Our beds are lovingly crafted to order, meaning each one is made specifically for the customer after purchase, and delivery timescales are always provided as estimates rather than fixed dates for this reason. We appreciate this can be difficult when you're in urgent need.
Regarding communication, we did reach out proactively with an update before you had contacted us, and we're sorry that this didn't reach you sooner — we completely understand how unsettling it is to feel out of the loop, especially in your situation.
The additional charge related to your delivery location is something that unfortunately falls outside of our control, and as noted on our website, certain delivery areas do carry an additional charge.

Worst shopping experience ever!
I made my order on 23rd of April, and delivery was planned for Wednesday 6th of May, that it was just 10 days after order.
On the same day at 7:45 am I receive a text saying that due to unforeseable circumstances they had to cancel delivery. When I called they said that the 2 parts of my bedframe had been delivered to different warehouses.
I had called and arranged a specific date due to my working hours. I unmounted my old bedframe that was due for collection as I was told it had to be ready. I sent emails complaining and they called me thursday to arrange delivery for Friday.
Friday morning same text, delivery cancelled. Called divanbase, I said I wanted to cancel the delivery as they were no fullfilling delivery timeline. They put me on hold and talked to delivery company. Said again the same issue, different parts delivered to different warehouses. Something they already knew. They said they would sort it. I got a message later that day that delivery would be Saturday morning... It's Saturday morning today and... Surprise! Delivery cancelled. Probably won't be able to talk to anyone today as shop only available Monday to Friday.
PS. I have to say after several emails, company agreed to give me a full refund. It was a process, but I got it in the end. Thanks

Delivery driver only had half the bed
Delivery was due today bank holiday Monday, but earlier I received a call from the delivery driver saying that they only have half the bed, so I will have to wait until tomorrow or Wednesday to receive the full bed. This is very inconvenient as I rearranged my room to accommodate the new bed, and also I will be working tomorrow or on Wednesday which will make receiving the delivery more difficult.

I ordered a divan base and it stated…
I ordered a divan base and it stated that it would arrive in 3-10 working days. Therefore I ordered the base working out the latest date it would arrive. Customer service is shocking when I rang and asked why my delivery was late. They said it was in the warehouse waiting for scanning. Six days later no follow up regarding my delivery. I rang again this morning the phone just kept ringing when I finally spoke to an advisor to ask about the delivery of the divan base he just put me on hold after 20 mins I gave up.
My pregnant daughter was visiting and she had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. Not great! Do not plan for a delivery by a certain date as it’s likely the courier won’t deliver on time. I rang the company many times last week and sent them an email but no response. Dreadful!They should at least respond to my request regarding the delivery.

Regarding the delay itself, unfortunately there was an issue with the item being scanned into the courier's system, which is something that was outside of our direct control. We completely understand how frustrating it is to have planned around a delivery window, and we're sorry that on this occasion things didn't run as smoothly as they should have.
In relation to your comments about our customer service, we have to be honest and say that the experience you've described does not reflect the standard we hold ourselves to or the feedback we consistently receive from our customers. We have no record of things unfolding in the way you've described, and we would genuinely welcome the opportunity to look into this further if you'd like to reach out to us directly.
With regard to your daughter, we are sorry to hear she was inconvenienced during her visit. We do want to note that this wasn't something that was raised with us at the time, and had it been, we would of course have done everything we could to help. We aren't able to account for circumstances we weren't made aware of, but we do take all feedback seriously.

Disappointed but DBD has redressed with more inconveniences
Not happy at all with the service. I placed an order on 28/3/26 and they delivered on after 10 days but in damaged condition and asked me to accept it with damaged condition and to be exchanged in week time but has not delivered yet! They have now keep changing the scheduled delivery every other day and it’s so frustrating and annoying! Also other two items of the same order delivered after 25 days but at wrong address. Also main ottoman bed and headboard yet to be delivered.. an unexplained experience!
To add further the damaged/ faulty divan was scheduled to deliver on 23/4 , then they rescheduled to 24/04 and again they cancelled at last minute while I was waiting for them and then rescheduled to 25/04 and I made myself available at home by cancelling other commitments but they ( Furdeco) cancelled it again .. this has been so traumatic and painful since 28/03 and still ongoing… at Furdeco all agent keep misleading and lying about this over the phone .. I had requested call back 10 times from their manager but hasn’t heard anything!.. Divan based direct company chosen Furdeco to deliver my goods and saying that they can’t do anything about it!
21/05/2026 : Adding further my experience has been improved and I believe they had tried all possible ways to help and delay the good but unfortunately third party delivery partner has caused much delay!
So I now changed my reviews and given 3 stars as they deserve to receive it!

Unfortunately I got wrong impressions by believing in DBD but they’re not learning from their mistakes but they’re are meant for causing inconvenience deliberately to the customers! To redress my disappointment and long long delays in getting my products they offered ottoman box which was a rouged after few weeks but this box was cushioned entirely and has caused us injuries when any of my family member bumped then they get injured! I reputed to DBD but they only apologised and also offered some extra cushioning materials which never arrived since 16th a June but Mr J at DBD keep lies and misleading me that this will arrive next week and so on… I have all proofs if what I said above … please beware if this fake company who always lies and mislead people! If there was a way to give more lower ratings I would have done!! I will also this review on google where many people read my reviews! And DBD asked me to change the review, I said why , give me a good reason why I should change it?

From our side, your order has been progressing throughout, and your initial item was delivered within the expected timeframe. When a minor issue was raised, a replacement was arranged straight away and has been in progress with the delivery team since.

Your main ottoman bed and headboard are now on their way to you and should be with you shortly. We also accommodated the requested change to your order during the process without any issue.
We do appreciate your patience while this is being resolved and are continuing to monitor everything closely with the delivery team to ensure the order is completed as expected.

So so happy
I'd honestly never heard of Divan Base Direct, until my husband showed me the website, we were in desperate need of a new base, after ours gave up on us from years of use, to say I was impressed with the whole transaction from ordering our base to delivery is an understatement, I'm far beyond impressed!
The quality of the base is superb, I was skeptical when I realised how light the two pieces were, but that soon disappeared, we've already decided that in the future when any of the beds bases need upgrading we will definitely be looking here first.
Prices are fantastic too, which "joking apart" in this day and age is always good.

Really happy with my new divan
Really happy with my new divan. I had been checking the website for expected delivery dates as I needed it delivering on a specific day. When I placed the order I received a phone call with the expected delivery date but it was longer than expected. Explained my situation and the lady said she would try and rush things through. I chased it up a few days later and then received a notification to say its on its way. I was a bit concerned that it might not arrive on time but all was perfect and the delivery men took their shoes off at the door without being asked. 5* service thanks
