Bought a gift card for the Disney+ streaming service for a year for a friend but found out after buying that they already have Disney+.

To compound matters they are not able to use this credit on their account either.

Apparently the only option is for us to give it to someone else but we do not wish to do this.

I’d like to cancel and buy them something else. I have been told that Disney do not do refunds.

Absolute joke in today’s day and age!!

I tried all streaming services and for me this is the best one ever. It's the only one that I will keep a subscription as long as they keep it like this.
It's family oriented and it has all the top Disney and Pixar movies that our children and us love. They have all the good content, other streaming services have 1 or 2 good disney movies and rarely have the ones I would like to watch
All other Disney movies are family friendly so I can trust my children can watch it without fearing they find inappropriate content.
For me it's the best streaming service!

So bought the 1 year subscription for my kids. The content is good, when you can actually get to it! The Technology is shocking bad, I mean really bad! More than 50% of our home devices just can't get past login, get an error code. Spent 2 hours on online chat support, they were just reading off a script and unable to provide any useful assistance. Still now 9 months on and I still takes ages to logon, if indeed I can. I won't be renewing the service, I feel cheated out of my subscription. I have all the other usual streaming services, Netflix, Prime etc.. and they work like clockwork. You would expect a company like Disney could get it right?

Ordered 3 items as there was a discount for items for orders over £50. The item that was exempt from the discount shows up and the other 2 discount items are not there. I then receive an email 11 days after my order saying I will be refunded for the 2 items as they are not in stock. These items are halloween items that customer services say will not be restocked. They we're in stock for 10 days after my order so there was no reason for me not to get them. Now if they do appear back in stock next halloween, I need to pay more for them as they will not give me a discount code to get them at the discounted price

It's been a couple of years since I ordered from the Disney UK store and now I remember why...they still use Hermes!!!!

Parcel was due for delivery between 10 and 12 yesterday (found out at 11), then rescheduled for between 12 and 2 (found out at 12:15), then got an email at 12:30 which said delivery failed as I wasn't in.
Obviously I was in, as we are in the middle of a pandemic where everyone is working from home.... why not just say the courier is too busy, so will try again tomorrow, instead of the constant lies?!

The following day, I was going to leave the house for food shopping but got an email at 10:30 to say it was now coming today between 10 and 12, so I postponed the food shopping. It's now 1:38pm and it still says the courier is coming between 10am and 12pm. Hope I am not waiting in for nothing.

Hopefully I will get my parcel at some point but I won't be ordering from Disney again unless they start using Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, UPS or Parcel Force (not Hermes or Yodel).

I paid £40 for a product that whilst I was waiting for it to be shipped was discounted to £20. I noticed this when the product was delivered to my sister, who is shielding. I contact Disney and they tell me that if I had noticed A DAY PREVIOUSLY, they would've have given me the discount, but now since it was shipped, I can't. I begged and begged and begged - it's not my fault that I only noticed the vast discount one day later? Why should I constantly check the website in this way to make sure my product hasn't halved in price? £20 is a huge amount of money! They said I must return the product and they will send out a new one. I can't - my sister is shielding and cannot easily return the item. They are a billion dollar company and could easily issue a partial refund for this, based on good will, seeing as how unfair this situation is. If my sister could return the item, and they just posted out the item again with the revised price, this would be the same outcome for both parties so why on earth not just issue the discount proactively? But they have refused. I will never ever ever be using them again. This is heartless and pointless behaviour.

Customer service are lovely and very quick

We booked to go see Lion King in November which was cancelled due to Covid. I was fully refunded within a month of the announcement including service charges. I’ve had other events cancelled with different sites and not got this back so am happy with Disney’s service!

I thought walt still stayed in the big tower. He disnae.

3rd time now Hermes have lost my Disney parcel, they lost it with my daughters main Christmas present and now they have just lost my daughters birthday presents and not all the items are in stock so have to go and try get her some other presents, I love disney products but until they find out why Hermes drivers are "losing" disney parcels (hard to spot with disney wrote all over the packaging) and look at changing courier i am afraid will not be ordering online ever again and the online chat advisors are usless

Disney + is good. However, i expected it to be much better than it was due to everybody raving about it. But there was some bad quality in a few of the movies. I would recommend this if you're a huge lover of disney movies though, as it was amazing to be able to watch ALL the films i used to watch as a child.

Disney+ (Disneyplus) costs around £5.99 per month after any free trials, we gave it a try but to really honest it wasn’t worth the money as it seems a huge disproportionate amount of movies etc are based on Star Wars and the rest of the movies have been on streaming services before or else they aren’t worth watching anyway, NETFLIX, NowTV and Amazon Prime Video are ALL much better value with a much larger range of things to watch and definitely better value for all the family to watch!

This is the second time I had to return a faulty item and I have to say the service was fantastic on both occasions. Not only was both items replaced, the most recent item (toy story rc car) was sent express delivery and arrived next day. This is why I order from Disney, guaranteed great service, keep up the good work!

Bad delivery service

I ordered my parcel for next day delivery. Unfortunately Disney use Hermes and I have been waiting for my package for 7 days and it is yet to arrive.

Each day I write to Disney I am advised that it is on it's way and will be delivered the next day but it never turns up. It is particularly upsetting as it is a Christmas present for a little girl and unfortunately I do not feel Disney have been understanding other than telling that it will be delivered the following day.

Unfortunately I will not be using the Disney online store again as this is highly unacceptable and I remain out of pocket.

Disney is great, but why they insist on using Hermes to deliver is beyond me!

Hermes have lost my parcel for almost a week now and you cannot track your parcel as the parcel tracking they have is so terrible! I've now been told that my parcel will get delivered for 5 days in a row and each day I have not received it!! Terrible service from Hermes, and Disney as neither is keen on helping you track your parcel!

Very upset because what I ordered was a gift and has now missed their birthday!

Disney please use a better service to deliver your parcels!

Terrible experience. I just wanted to order a pair of pyjamas. The website would not take my order - apparently this is because I have previously returned an item.
I had to call to place an order instead. After 16 minutes, the gentleman on the other end of the call was still trying to understand the first line of the address. I had repeated it several times - I am convinced he was getting to wrong on purpose.
I didn't place the order - I couldn't.
The happiest place on earth has left me the most stressed person on earth without a product!

I’ve never used his company but my data was used in a fraudulent transaction. It’s impossible to find a phone number for them on their website and there is no link to report fraud. So I reported fraud to @Disney_UK via their contact form and @Disney_UK couldn’t have cared less. They refused to carry out an investigation into the fraud so I could report back to the Police and join it to the crime reference number I already have, and refused to delete my data from their database in breach of the Data Protection Act 2018. The uneducated and untrained person that eventually phoned me terminated the call instead of dealing with the matter professionally.

Very slow postage. I then received an email stating that "due to a high volume of orders over black friday your order will be delayed by 2 working days". You know full well that Black Friday is every year so if you don't take steps to counter any potential extra workload you are clearly poor at what you do. Hence my rating of only 1 star for an extremely wealthy muti national company.
