Absolutely horrified
Absolutely horrified. I was asked to call direct line as I'm in the process of changing my home policy to a landlord policy. Prices are absolutely ridiculous and absolutely no customer service apart from when you BUY the insurance. As soon as they have you on their books you mean nothing to them. Absolutely appalling. Sad state of customer service these days. Companies like this just don't provide any decent service any more but customers have to pay through the nose.

Awful customer service. Told lies, overseas call centre is a disaster. I would avoid these guys! Staff had seriously bad attitudes.

Multiple Property Insurance (Landlord)
I spoke to Alan in Multiple Property Insurance department.He was very helpful, courteous and efficient. He explained things clearly and precise. He definitely knew what he was talking about which confirmed my faith in Direct Line. Even when he had to repeat what he'd already said he was calm and clear.
As I have a number of properties to insure he took the details and we agreed for him to ring me back at 10am the following day. He sent me an estimate late afternoon and he did ring me back at 10am the following morning to discuss further and complete the policy. I would like to suggest that Alan be put forward for Employee of the Month if you have such an award and to be recognised for his outstanding customer service.
