I needed to buy a new television and…
I needed to buy a new television and after a very dissapointing customer experience with 2 retailers in limerick, I then made my way to DID electrical. What a breath of fresh air! I met Joseph, he was very friendly, helpful and very professional and I walked out with a lovely new T.V. Excellent service and staff. I purchased EarPods. Did took the payment after 2 days of no contact about pickup I came to the shop. I was then told you didn’t have the product and the cheapest EarPods you had in stock where 10 euro more . Very disappointing

This company cost me 250 euro due to their faulty product
I purchased a Gas hob on 31 March, it was installed on the 13 April 2026. Within two days I noted an increasing smell of gas in my kitchen. Had the installer back out, a third party company, who came back that day and checked it, it was confirmed as a gas leak within the new hob. I contacted DID to request support by phone and it just went downhill from there. Emails back and forth for a month where they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, no clear info on what the manufacturer needed, I had to ask if they wanted the report from the installer to confirm the leak was isolated to the unit etc. eventually they agreed to send a replacement. delivered to me the 18th May and Installed by same third party on the 20th May. I asked twice by email to the same support manager that organised the replacement that DID cover the cost of the second install. The first time my question was ignored and the second time I was told installs were not a service they provided so they would not refund me. I have since replied that this was not acceptable as this issue was caused by their faulty product but my email has sat unaddressed for a week now. I will be 250 euro out of pocket over this. I don't recommend this company and I will not be purchasing from them again.

Very good experience. I was looking for specific hob, I rang ahead and I was told they have the one I wanted in stock. I went to the store and it was there ready for me. Very helpful staff a lady called liada, in the Bandon store.
