I've bought many cars and bikes over the years and buying a new vehicle, particularly a new motorbike isn't always the easy process that you think it will be. The team at D*ck lovett BMW dealership (Trust pilot won't let me use their actual name as they consider the diminutive of Richard to be inappropriate language) were helpful, friendly and personable and I've ended up with the most brilliant new machine.

Sometimes you need there to be a problem to see how good the team are and whether or not they will look after you. In this case a key had to be re-ordered and there was a slight delay in my taking delivery. The team were suitably apologetic, and provided me with a free hire bike, but better than that, they then went out of their way to keep me informed in what was happening and to try to make up for the disappointment I initially felt.

Most importantly of all - the new bike has lived up to expectations.

I find Mike and Tash so helpful and they really do try to do their best to make the buying experience great which I feel they have succeeded every time.

It's not what goes wrong........but what happens after! Took my bike in for running-in service. The service team was short staffed due to illness, but they made sure to inform of this and thus managed expectations. The top box that I had ordered as part of the bike service still had not arrived, however, knowing we were going on a touring holiday the following day, a 'loan' top box was provided, which was even key coded to my bike! What could have turned into disappointment was magnificently avoided, the service was fabulous, the welcome warm and the new bike is fabulous.

From my initial contact with the team at D.Lovett group through to the collection the vehicle from them, I received a first class service from everyone I spoke with, they we're incredible helpful.

I'd like to contribute a very positive review directed at Lovett Motored in Bristol based on my recent experiences buying a Used Approved BMW there and other encounters in the past.

Without wanting to hammer nails into the competition, the contrast between Lovetts and other places I could have gone for a used BM around pretty marked. Lovetts have the franchise but that's not the end of it. It's the professionalism and the overall feeling of security in dealing with them that counts. It's easy to lavish all the praise on a particular person of course, they are nice people, but some at least of the stars above belong to the whole dealership. It's a credit to the people running it and BMW's brand could not be in better hands.

I am very happy to recommend this dealer.

Picked up car from service and it’s covered in dirt - not a good experience

I recently took my BMW 335D Touring to BMW dealer in Melksham for a routine oil and filter change. Overall, my experience was a bit mixed.
A few days after the service, and having driven only about 20 miles, the low oil warning light illuminated on my dashboard. This was certainly concerning, as I expect thoroughness from a main BMW dealer.
On the positive side, I do want to acknowledge that the team at Melksham rectified this promptly once I returned the car, which I appreciated. However, the initial oversight meant an unexpected return visit and some inconvenience.
While the issue was resolved, the fact that it occurred so soon after a standard service did leave me feeling somewhat disappointed. I trust that this feedback will be helpful in maintaining the high standards expected from the main BMW dealership in Melksham.

I visited d. Lovett motorrad showroom in Bristol a few weeks ago to browse the bmw s1000xr motorcycle, while browsing i spoke to James Beddington ,whom I found very polite and very helpful, nothing seemed like to much trouble for him, he answered all my questions, made me coffee and made me feel at total ease.
I returned the following week and purchased the s1000xr,.

Georgia at bmw cribbs causeway is absolutely customer focused. She has been on another level with her attention to detail and attitude towards total and complete customer satisfaction! She is an absolute credit to Lovett bmw cribbs causeway and the owners should be very proud to have someone like her working at this company . Bmw is the ultimate driving machine that is advertised as their brand and Georgia makes sure that she upholds this philosophy in every aspect from start to finish . She called me every day to keep me updated and nothing was any trouble for her . I felt completely at rest with everything she told me that was going to be done with my car . I bought a bmw m340i from a different dealership and had an issue with it . This was fixed without hesitation from the bmw used car warranty under the guidance of Georgia that made my experience exceptional. The mechanics that work on my car were called Carl and rob . They are also a massive credit to bmw and are excellent technicians and it’s these 3 people that work together and focus on providing the best service that anyone could ever wish for from a main dealer . I have been a bmw owner for 25 years and why do I come back . The answer to the question is everything above ! Georgia , Carl and rob thankyou so much for everything you did for me , you went above and beyond and you really are lovely people. Thanks a million ! When you buy a car you don't always think about it's servicing but my experience is that MINI service plans can represent good value for money and provide additional piece of mind. Also it helps if your local dealer has an excellent service department which I do in Mini at Cribbs Causeway Bristol. I must single out Adam Rosser who I have had dealings with over the last four years- he is always patient when I don't understand car jargon, straightforward and customer focused.

All the staff are professional, efficient and courteous.

Lovely dealer showroom with lovely people working there who look after you as soon as you walk through the door. Nice coffee too.

Excellent all round from Receptionists meet and greet, very impressive surroundings. Tim the Sales Exec whom we dealt with very informative giving detailed info regarding our vehicle purchase.
We found the whole experience through to collection and vehicle handover easy and efficient.
