Welcomed by Greg who was very knowledgeable regarding a sofa bed we were looking for. He asked where and what it would be mainly used for, made some recommendations and demonstrated the bed section. Once we were shown the selection we were left to view without any pressure. We came back after some lunch with our Son for a second opinion and made our decision.

Delivered a £3k leather suite with major physical defects: a 4x2 inch cattle brand scar on the arm, pinhole punctures on the seat, and misaligned stitching

DFS attempted a repair, but the replacement leather hide arrived creased and ruined in transit.

DFS management eventually admitted the entire suite had to be re-ordered. However, they refused any allowance for leaving defective furniture in my home for months, then closed the issue and told me to deal with the finance provider instead.

Substandard quality control, failed repairs, and management that washes its hands of basic consumer rights. Seek alternatives.

You have my details. If you want to discuss a proper financial allowance to compensate for months of delay, stress, and your incompetence, reach out via email. Otherwise, save the canned responses—the Ombudsmen will deal with it.

It was very pleasant to be able to have a good look around the store without being harassed by sales staff, they were available as soon as we needed them which was excellent. We were helped with our purchase by Tommy who was friendly, professional and very efficient. A very good experience all round.

I bought a couch from DFS 14 months ago, order and delivery was fine however 5 weeks after delivery a split appeared in 1 of the cushions. DFS came out repaired the split but another part of the msterial tipped 3 weeks later. The couch was repaired 3 times in 8 weeks before deciding that the whole part needed to be replaced, this was in December of 2025. We are now in August, the fabric was only delivered in July, 7 months after the fabric was supposedly ordered and 5 phone calls to chase up. The repair was booked in for Wednesday, however the technitian rang up the day before at 4pm to cancel as it was booked in as a 1 man job but needed 2 men. We are now 8 months down the line 7 phone calls and still no closer to getting this couch repaired which we paid over £3000 for and has been damaged for all but 1 month of having it in the home. Currently on the phone and customer service are still telling me they wont deal with this as I need to deal with the store who clearly aren't doing anything with this. Have bought a few couches through DFS but don't think I will again after this experience.

Good customer service. However the price of goods is never the actual price that you pay due to the delivery charge that is automatically implemented, thats where DFS has got you by the short and curlys. ...
