I owed £17.50 as I paid a lot of the fine sadly I lost my partner recently
I received a letter from them with all the options to pay at the bottom if the letter is said quite clearly in black and white you have options to pay this in two or three months installments
I rang up to arrange this on the phone and the guy said I couldn't do this arrangement as it was less the amount to make it arrangement
Surely in today's society and laws if it says you can opt into this arrangement it should be honoured
To say I was annoyed was out ranged for him to say this as it was in the letter for him to see on his system
This is a shocking company no common sense at all to help people

It's a racket! Go see on Companies House >> Lisa Clure and Graham Brierley are both directors for BOTH Debt Recovery Plus and Parking Collection Services (PCS).

But PCS has ALWAYS been a dormant company!
Since inception in 2018 PCS has consistently submitted accounts only as a 'Dormant Company', ie: a company that is NOT operating, providing services or taking monies.

BOTH are registered at: 78 York Street, London, W1H 1DP

PCS is a 'dormant company' that dishes out tickets with no evidence at all of parking contraventions - no photos. Debt Recovery Plus sends out aggressive letters and emails to chase and increase the debt.

Lisa and Gareth also both run EDWARD & EMILY LIMITED - a property company. So Lisa and Gareth are conning 10,000s of people to pay for a property jolly! These scumbags are that brazen.

The Crime and Policing Bill is supposed to crack down on corporate fraud. So where's the crack down on Lisa and Gareth's diabolical fraud?

I recently had a false parking issue (£170 charge although I had paid my parking) for which I had a dispute on payment. I’d paid with APCOA, they forwarded it to Debt Recovery Plus. I contacted DRP, was listened to and calmly assisted by Mike. He contacted APCOA for me, addressed my concerns and the debt was cancelled, report mailed to me and a chase up call made to me. Very professional service that in all honesty I wasn’t expecting, but what a relief.

Spoke with Leon who was swift in assisting me with my query and all was resolved in 5 minutes, excellent customer service.

Really kind, calm and thoughtful advice from both Karen and Kiren. Good listeners and sympathetic to my situation and the fact I’d not received the initial parking ticket through the post. Clearly explained the legal position and advised next steps.

My rating would have been 5 stars but for the fact there was a gap in their training/process knowledge.

I was advised to call back the car parking company who had originally issued the ticket but when I finally got through on the automated phone line the system automatically terminated my call since my case had been passed to debt collection.

An honest mistake I’m sure but an opportunity to review either the process, or the training, or both.

I rang to discuss a debt for someone who had died. Rachel was very helpful and confirmed that the debt would be written off. She was very easy to deal with and resolved everything quickly and was kind and empathetic.

Well done Leon, your customer service skill were excellent in the face of a difficult situation.

My reason for calling: Smart Parking Ltd, issued fines despite passing through their completely unfit for purpose appeal system- despite being a paying customer of the hotel evidenced by invoices, they chose not to uphold my appeal. Beware!

For various reasons within and outside of my control, my Parking offence was escalated quite considerably.
However, when I fully explained the circumstances to Carlos Garcia of DRPL, he took the time to appreciate the full details and was able to resolve my case in a very fair manner.

Spoke to Ajay after receiving a letter from this company, He was caring & listened to me. I did not expect such a lovely kind hearted person when calling a debt company. He resolved my case quickly as this was an error by the parking issuer.

We have been wrongfully sent a charge for parking fee at Luton, which we had evidence of paying within the required 24hour slot. We called and spoke to Monica, and after a few weeks they were able to spot that the fee was charged due to small mistake in the registration number. They have kindly wiped that fee for us which we were grateful for.

its not normal to give positive reviews regarding debt recovery companies but the person i dealt with was both super professional and amazingly helpful in how they dealt with the issue and myself (on a human level). they showed strong empathy and understood my view point.

I’d like to express my sincere appreciation to all the staff at DRP. Throughout my experience, they have clearly put their customers’ best interests first, and during what has been a difficult time for me, they have been incredibly supportive and understanding.
It’s not something you always expect from a debt recovery company, which makes their approach all the more commendable. I have a great deal of respect for the team and management for providing such a high level of care and service to people in situations like mine.
