Worked with Sam and Maggie to design a custom engagement ring. Sam created CAD designs based on what I imagined, and had no issues redesigning a few things when they didn't align with what I wanted. Easy to work with, design was very timely (few days) and very high quality.
Maggie assisted in sourcing the diamond, and recommended one that was even better than what I found (and a little bit cheaper too).

My engagement ring journey took me 3500 miles away from my home in Florida to DeBebians in California. Looking for a specialty enternity wedding band and speciality stones for the engagement ring, I made the phone call to DeBebians. From the first phone call to the end the team at DeBebians felt like they were right down the street. I was updated on every step of the way. AutoCAD diagrams of the actual rendering of the ring were sent. They were able to meet a deadline. I had to mail them airloom diamonds to included in the band as well.

We had been looking for a reputable jeweler for a college graduation gift for our daughter. We knew she wanted a signet ring as opposed to a class ring. There seems to be very few jewelers that offer signet rings, unlike the UK were it is very popular. I did a google search and deBebians website was an option. I have never ordered jewelry online so I was skeptical. My local jeweler options were limited. I decided to call and talked to Maggie who was extremely helpful. Walked me through quality, sizing, preferences, etc... I came back a week or so later and ordered our final choice online. I am a terrible procrastinator and I knew I was too late to get the ring by graduation day. When ordering one of the questions is "what is the date of the event?" It was only 10 business days away which just wasn't enough time for something requiring hand engraving. Two days before graduation I received the ring and was just floored by the fact that they expedited the order so that I would receive it in time. The ring was GORGEOUS...quality, size, and look was exactly what we hoped for and our daughter just loves it so very much. Thank you to deBebians for providing us with a great memory and a lifetime gift for our daughter.

Maggie at DeBebians was very friendly and kind to me, she guided me through my first diamond purchase. Financing was also easy and the 10% off Valentines day sale made my purchase that much sweeter. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted to buy a beautiful diamond ring.

If you are considering deBebians, but are worried about a primarily online company, don't be, they're legit. Sam designed my engagement and wedding rings, and I live about 2 hours away, so I drove down there and met him. So he's a real person, has a real business, and their location is secure. I've posted a few pictures on Yelp.

After not having been able to find the perfect wedding ring for over 2 years, I decided to email deBebians around Thanksgiving 2015. I thought, it's probably going to be too expensive, but what the heck, they offer free quotes. I made a detailed Google doc that I included the link to in my original email detailing rings that I liked for specific reasons, but I didn't actually like the whole ring.

Sam emailed me back with a general quote and it was BELOW budget! We already had the center stone as it is an heirloom from my husband's family, and Sam was great about making the time for me to come down and bring it to him. I didn't trust myself to to do the measurements of the stone correctly, and I felt better having him do it since he was going to design a ring for it. Sam was so great in person, we talked more about the design, he got all the info on the diamond, and I was glad I was able to take the diamond back home with me. I was real sure how my husband would feel about me leaving his family heirloom with a jeweler I just met lol. After exchanging a few ideas back and forth via email and the phone, the final rendering of my ring was done on the computer and emailed to me. I loved it already, just from the picture. We made a date for me to come back and have the diamond set about 2.5 weeks from the final CAD picture. My ring was ready as promised, my husband and I drove to LA, left the diamond with Sam, got breakfast, and in about an hour and a half, I had my beautiful lovely ring!

The beauty of my ring is all in the details. I'm not sure if it's really represented accurately in the pictures, but the scroll design was also hand engraved adding dimension and depth. The milgraining (beading) really gives it the vintage aspect I felt was appropriate considering the history of the center stone, yet the delicate double halo is something you see today. I also appreciated how my ring wasn't high profile. I asked for "medium" profile lol. I wanted to be able to see the detail in the ring but not accidentally stab the kids with it or knock it around on walls or something.

One of the things I really appreciated about Sam is he made me feel so much better about actually making a decision a wedding ring. I had grown over the course of 2 years kind of dreading even talking about it. I had looked at thousands of new settings and vintage settings and saw very pretty ones, but nothing I really felt drawn to. No wonder my poor husband was worried about picking a ring I wouldn't like! Sam was super patient and was able to help me narrow down what I was even looking for, and the elements of particular styles I liked. He also was honest about what would and wouldn't look good, and assured me he would only make a ring that he liked too.

I have total faith in Sam and deBebians, would absolutely recommend them, and will definitely buy from them again. Oh, and something else I think is great customer service, deBebians provides free inspection, cleaning, and rhodium dipping. They are also military friendly!

I would also recommend looking at the educational portion of their website, it's very informative about terminology and such.

I worked with EFA on the custom design of my sapphire engagement ring. I was looking for a specific (read: rare) fancy sapphire for my center stone and they viewed over 100 stones from their suppliers and found the perfect one! Then they did a custom CAD design and sourced gorgeous side stones and pave diamonds for the shank. I live in a different state and it was a very seamless process with constant communications via email including the sending of pictures and videos of the progress of the ring design and crafting of the final piece.

This company is the real deal; they are true artisans and run a top notch businesses. The entire experience was outstanding as was the final design and ring. And the quality to price ratio makes jewelry companies one of the best values around.

I will start my review by saying that I am a very happy and satisfied customer of Debebians. My fiancee and I have been looking for the perfect ring for quite a while. When we came across Debebians website and found the Halo Pave Engagement Ring, we immediately knew that was the one. I contacted an agent who was very helpful and tolerant of my many questions. I have never been to USA before and I was going to order the ring online and have it shipped to my country. I was a bit worried at first but once I wired the money and they started manufacturing process and I started receiving the progress through emails I was relieved. The ring took 10 days to manufacture along with my titanium band and it took 10 more days to arrive. I can't describe how beautiful the ring is. It is just amazing!! I called Maggie to talk about the options and she was not only extremely informative on every aspect of the diamond world but so kind and patient with my questions. Once we set a budget we narrowed down the options based on what I though I wanted. I really loved in the end we focused more on the quality of the diamond than the size. I worked with Maggie at deBebians to order my 15 year anniversary ring. It was important to me to have a ring that would go with my antique engagement ring. I shopped around at jewelry stores in my area so I knew exactly what size and style I wanted and was able to get it at deBebians for a much better price then anywhere around me. I purchased an engagement ring (diamond and setting), and I could not be happier with both the finished product and the service from debebians. They had a wide variety of settings including the exact one I was looking for, and Sam (one of the employees there), after consulting with me, made it even better and bling-ier with added diamonds to the setting to make it sparkle that much more. When I was told my original choice of diamond was not available, the staff worked with me to find a similar diamond in terms of quality and price, and I ended up finding an even better one that way. The whole process of buying a ring was long and at time difficult, but the staff was in constant contact with me via phone and email with an update every 1-4 days which was very helpful. I'm very happy with the overall experience, and I would happily recommend them to anyone who asked. My girlfriend (now fiancee) agrees!
