As I’m writing this review, Daryl Flood essentially has my furniture and all of my belongings held hostage from me, from what I can gather. This has truly been the most miserable customer experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. Genuinely. I’m racking my brain to see if I’ve had a worse experience in 3 decades on this earth, and I can’t think of anything that’s been more horrendous
I’ll start from the beginning. Leading up to the move, we were rudely awakened two mornings in a row by movers banging on our door to check our packing progress. One of these men was the driver, who seemed so concerned about our packing progress that he had a Daryl Flood representative, Brandon, come by our house later that day. The representative looked in our house, saw all our packed boxes, laughed, and said everything was fine. The next morning, we were told that that same driver could not do our move because he bottomed out his truck on our street the day before when he visited us, and needed to do repairs. This is highly questionable because he came in a car, not his truck. I suspect he simply didn’t want to take on our move for unknown reasons. As a result, Daryl Flood had local movers pack up our stuff and take it to a storage facility. A small setback, but no alarm bells going off just yet.
The bigger problems started when my fiancé and I arrived at our new house (moving from TX to CO). I was told by our contact person that she would find out from our “new” driver our updated delivery estimate. Well, this “new” driver doesn’t answer his phone. At all. I’m not even sure he has a phone. Our contact person, Jenny, has been communicating with his dispatcher, who can only seem to track his GPS to get an understanding of where he is. By the time this new driver picked up our stuff from the storage facility, we were already at the end of our delivery window.
Fast forward to 12 days after our stuff was originally packed, and 5 days after the last date on our delivery window, and we still do not have our stuff. The driver was supposed to deliver yesterday, but of course that didn’t happen. The driver was supposed to deliver today, but it’s now 5 pm and so that clearly won’t happen. No one can get ahold of this man! No one! He refuses to answer his phone! My contact person, Jenny, is doing everything she can to get ahold of our driver. I’d like to state that Jenny has done everything she can possibly do and has been immensely helpful. She may be the only competent person in this entire company. Make her CEO and fire the rest.
Thousands of dollars of my belongings are on a mystery truck with a man who refuses to communicate with anyone about his whereabouts. I’ve wasted two days sitting in my home, checking my phone every 5 minutes, wondering if someone will call or a truck will pull up. At this time, I’m seriously considering contacting the police to track down our driver, Luis (last name omitted) and his truck. It feels like my belongings have been stolen by some rogue driver. I’m genuinely at my wits end. If the delivery doesn’t come tomorrow, I’m contacting the authorities.
Avoid this company like the plague. Seriously. If you are even considering requesting a quote, just stop. Move on. Try a different company. Do not put yourself through what I’ve been through. It’s just not worth it. Try literally any other company. They simply cannot be as bad as Daryl Flood.

Do not use! Highly un professional driver!!
Driver hung up on me and did not deliver my frig.
My $3,000 refrigerator was due to be delivered saturday 11/17/2018, at 8 am, was not on the truck with my dishwasher. Company says it will be monday morning, then changed it to monday afternoon 3-7pm. At 8 pm driver calls and says he will arrive in 45 minutes, close to 9pm. I say okkk.....but as per delivery instructions in my order, be careful of the muddy yard since it is now dark. He replies "well it sure don't seem like you want this tonight" I say yes I do, just watch the mud. He replies "you better call who ever you ordered this from (was Home Depot) and tell them to reschedule to a time when your yard is dry!"
I called the main office and the local office and was told to go get it myself from their warehouse!! It is now 10 days later and no refrigerator.

They were supposed to deliver an appliance from Home Depot and never showed up nor did they contact us to say they wouldn’t be able to do it that day. So the next day I tried calling them and they were supposed to be open 8-5 and there was no answer so I left a message and then Home Depot called repeatedly and still no answer. Now my delivery will not be for another 4-5 days. This is very unprofessional and this company needs to work on their communication skills.
Update:
Finally got someone to answer at 9:30 (a hour and a half after they were supposed to be open) no answer was given as to why it was not delivered except ran out of time. Said they already had deliveries scheduled for Saturday and that I would have to be rescheduled to Tuesday. So I called Home Depot back and they called Daryl Flood to find out reason why it wasn’t delivered and they lied and said driver talked to my husband and said he was running late and could it be rescheduled...total lie he never spoke to anyone. So not only does this company not communicate, not follow through with appointments and deadlines but they lie to their client ie Home Depot. I think Home Depot should re-evaluate doing business with Daryl Flood’s company.

We have moved 14 times over the past 28 years. Our recent move with Daryl Flood Mayflower was outstanding. There is no such thing as a perfect move, but this was close to perfect. No one enjoys moving, but Daryl Flood made it as stress free as possible.
Jason Staton, Lorraine Prestano, Kenny Archibold, Wayne Russell, and the moving crew were outstanding from initial quote through post move. We highly recommend Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics.
Excellent quote process, very frequent follow-up and daily checks to ensure all is going well, drivers and loaders were excellent

Some of the usual problems like mislabeling boxes, delivering them to the wrong rooms, etc. Some items were disappointing such as not completing the setup of various items that were taken apart by the crew at the loading location. For instance, I had to reconstruct our china cabinet which was made more difficult by the fact that I couldn't find my toolbox in the garage. Adjustable bed was not installed. Etc.
Worst of all, one of the crew members brought his kids with him to the job and one of them stopped up the toilet where it ran over. No one came to me to say it had happened. I found out when I happened to open the bathroom door and found a moving pad wrapped around the toilet.
Still trying to find things weeks later because they were boxed with things from other rooms. Also waiting for outcome of audit where I expect the result will show the number of items moved was considerably lower than the estimate (as confirmed by the driver).

Prompt and polite! The movers handled my goods with extreme care -- wrapping all the furniture and moving things gently. They were cognizant of the walls and completely covered my hardwood floors to prevent any damage from heavy furniture. They also had to remove a door in order to move a large refrigerator into the laundry room, with no complaints at all! Before leaving, we went through the entire inventory sheet to make sure every item was accounted for and had arrived intact. Excellent service all around!

I have been in uniformed service for over 20 years, and have been 'professionally moved' at least 10 times. I can say without any reservation that my moving experience with Daryl Flood was the best.
My move coordinator, Kim Lange, was very communicative and accommodating for some last minute changes in dates and locations.
My driver/team lead, Jeff Brown, was simply superior in his professionalism, (on time, considerate of our things and home), communicative, (responding promptly to email and text messages to coordinate meeting at the delivery sites) and up to date (he is a beta tester for current technologies like using an iPad for inventory and onsite scanning of documents. He selected packers/loaders who were similarly experienced and professional.
I hope to not have to move again for a while, but if I do, I will certainly be looking up Daryl Flood first.

We had a great experience with Daryl Flood when we moved in February. Rocky Hernandez and his crew where awesome! They packed our house on the 9th of February and did an awesome job. They moved us on the 10th of February. Our delivery was quick and they were fantastic! We'd definatly refer and use Daryl Flood again. This was our 16th move and by far the least stressful and most easy. Thank you guys!

Used Daryl Flood for our relocation from San antonio Texas to Southampton Uk was given an esimated time of arrival in UK 21st April 2017 that never happened next estimated time of arrival 16th of May and the name of the ship it would be on. Got an email on the 14th May telling us it has been delayed again next estimated date is now the 6th June 2017 am i supposed to believe this the whole episode of moving has be a joke with Daryl Flood.I would never use them again

Worst experience ever. If you want a lot of damage to you furniture and belonging then this is the company. Most of our furniture was dinged up and a chunk missing off a table we brought back from Japan. Tiffany lamp shade was packed loosely on its side with outdoor patio stuff packed around it. How do these things get packed together in the first place? Needless to say cracked a lot of the colored glass and bentup the frame. Who packs like this?? A Smaller lampshade cut and bulb bracket shattered. All the way down to my crystal wedding knife handle broken. Many things not replaceable. So sad when you do your best to take care of your belonging you work for and a company like this do so much damage in one move. We had moved years ago from Japan and after crossing the ocean in a container, getting through a hurricane and delivered, all we had broken was 1 coffeee mug handle. We move from Texas to Washington and incur alll this damage. I would not recommend this company if you care about your belongings.

They broke my TV display while packing, however, didn't tell me that.
- Recently I have moved from SF to LA last week. There was a month gap between moving out and in date. So I also used their storage service. After one month, I got my stuff delivered. They didn't unpack them. Anyway, it's ok, but while I unpack my TV I found the display was broken, almost torn out. Omg! As the box was not damaged I could infer that they broke it at packing. But they didn't tell me about it. I'm very disappointed that they were not honest.
They charged too much and worked suck.
- The cost was too expensive so I expected really good services. But while I unpacking my stuff I found they packed it unprofessionally. My books got damaged or folded. My furniture got a scratch or damaged.
It seems like the crews are doing this for the first time.
As I found the damage on my TV, I wrote an email to them. But they didn't response yet. WTH!

-They wanted to come a day early & we agreed although we said we aren't ready. Never should've agreed! Move-out otherwise went smoothly. Everything was handled with care by local help and regular crew (driver & helper).
-The move-in was not handled with care by the local help.
-They (local help) were rushing, dropping things & improperly stacking boxes and other items. They were not honest when questioned. We asked them to slow down as they were practically running with things.
Damages:
1) Dropped an iron table leg because he was carrying all 4 & rushing. It damaged hardwood floor just installed. (Witnessed this!)
2) One or both of them knocked over/dropped wall unit bending 2 knobs (we heard thud -when asked what happened they said one of them fell). They stacked boxes in front of wall units so we could not see damage until well after they left.
3) Someone broke peg off coat rack & then stuck broken off piece in an empty hole. Discovered it when I hung my jacket on it & it fell off, then I saw rest of peg in its original hole on opposite side. They denied it but the peg did not reinsert itself into another hole while leaving some of peg in the original hole. (Driver knew it did not leave our old home broken as he removed 3 of 4 pegs but couldn't get 4th one out.)
4) Damaged corner of wall due to rushing. (Witnessed this!) All we wanted is for them to patch it if they had something on truck. Otherwise we would handle it later.
5) Stacked heavier items on top of items that could not handle the weight. As soon as this was discovered, after they left, we quickly rearranged...
-When one of us witnessed some of the above and/or pointed out what happened, the driver defended the help. Not cool!
-We filed a claim for the floor damage and it was handled satisfactorily.
-We were disappointed that the crew was not honest & forthcoming.
-We had a much longer distance move than this without anything being damaged by another carrier. We would not use Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics again.
