We needed to purchase a new washing machine as ours stopped working after 17 years service.
The first shop we visited was Dacombes of Wimborne, we immediately felt welcomed by the staff and without any pressure we received knowledgeable advice on the different machines available.
As such we decided to purchase straight away without going to other retailers, we had total confidence in Dacombes and that we purchased the right machine.
The delivery was arranged and today we received the new machine, the two men who carried out the installation again could not have been more helpful.
Having worked in the customer service sector all my working life I have to confess that I am very focused on service and it is therefore really refreshing to find a company that truly understands what makes the difference and delivers!!
Well done to the Dacombes team, couldn’t be more impressed.

We couldn’t be happier with our new media wall which consisted of slatted wooden panels with integrated LED lights, a Dimplex fire and a 65" Sony TV. From the initial design right through to the build and installation, the service was absolutely excellent.

What really stood out was their incredible attention to detail, they genuinely care and take pride in their work. Not rushing to make sure it was what we wanted. It’s clear that they genuinely enjoy what they do (even worked through their lunch!) They hold themselves to extremely high standards, with all the little details and finishing touches coming together to make our media wall feel truly bespoke and perfect for our home.

We’re absolutely delighted with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, bespoke media wall. A fantastic company providing exceptional service and craftsmanship. Thank you!

Placinge an order over the phone, couldn’t have been any easier. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and made the experience very straightforward. The item was very reasonably priced, delivered free, (must be within a certain distance from store) and the two chaps who delivered the item were polite and friendly, placing the item in the required position and checking that it was stable. Overall a fantastic service from start to finish

We shop at Dacombes because they are always friendly and knowledgeable, in fact their product knowledge is first class whether you are buying a washer/dryer, a fridge/freezer, a widescreen TV, a Ruark HiFi system, a miniature Roberts Radio or a light bulb. Everything is as you would want it: service, staff, delivery. Plus the shop is a really nice place to just look around. One last thing, I never have a problem parking.

Extremely happy with the delivery and service provided by Dacombes. Consideration was given to my home in a professional and friendly manner and would highly recommend them.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff in the local showroom explained in detail the operational instructions of our choice of tumble dryer. Our delivery date and timeframe were chosen and on the relevant day the machine was installed with a minimum of fuss. Altogether, a highly commendable service.

Brilliant customer service, with information about sizing of freezer drawers which I hadn’t thought of. Also how the size of inside of fridge/freezer is affected by insulation. Also collection of old units as well as installation of new appliance really helped. Delivery drivers did a really good job managing to get unit up tricky stairs.

Excellent product knowledge from Mark. We always come to Dacombe’s as the service is second to none. All questions answered thoroughly and the staff are prepared to take time with the customers. Also appreciate the delivery and installation of induction hob within two days. Had it fitted this morning by Lee who was polite and made sure the area was clean and tidy.

We needed to replace our washing machine due to a sudden complete failure. We went to Dacombes of Wimborne as it is a local company with a good reputation. We had an idea what we wanted to buy and the Dacombes website was excellent and with competitive pricing.
Helen was very friendly and helpful in the store and answered all of our questions. Delivery was quick and the delivery people were also great. They went out of their way to bring the new machine to exactly where we wanted it, to make it easier for us to install it.

Recent move required purchase of white and black goods so went to Dacombes who had always been very good to my parents. Excellent advice, service and pricing followed up by fantastic delivery and installation. Clear explanations of how to use and register for warranty etc. Can't recommend highly enough!

Very good service throughout. Helpful sales staff who knew the product and could answer questions taking into account my own requirements. Delivered on time and with phone call to say they were on their way. Very helpful delivery team, who took care to ensure the old fridge freezer was taken out carefully, and new one brought in successfully. All packing removed and taken away without my asking.

No nonsense sales staff explained the basic functions of the machine and managed to fit in a delivery the same week. The delivery guys were very good and put the washing machine in our back breakfast room ready for us to remove packaging.

Could not fault the whole experience from the excellent staff at the shop right through to the two lovely installers who managed to carry out there work in the current heat wave.
