First time ordering...
We ordered the pistachio and passion fruit cake and a box of brownies, and honestly, everything was delicious. The flavours were amazing, the cake was beautiful, and the brownies disappeared very quickly! Everything was packed really well and arrived in one piece, which is always a win with cake delivery. We’ll definitely be ordering again. ❤️

The cake is very nice, delivered on time.
Worried that it was damaged because the delivery man just threw it to me but due to good packaging, it was still presentable.
I wish it was bigger though. Overall, will purchase again

Disappointing Cake
I’d previously purchased a Passionfruit & Pistachio Cake from Cutter & Squidge, which was a brilliant cake…moist, tasty and exceptional quality.
My wife decided to order their Ultimate Caramel Chocolate Cake for my birthday, which at double the price of the previous cake…we had high expectations for.
Unfortunately, the cake was really poor…the sponge wasn’t moist, it basically crumbled and fell apart into small pieces when touched. Whilst the icing was firm/not soft and luxurious (it had a texture like a chocolate bar).
I contacted customer support, their response wasn’t great unfortunately…no offer to make things right, simply saying the cake needed to be at room temperature for a couple of hours before eating (when in fact it had been at room temperature for a couple of hours before we tried it).

Hi Adam,
Thank you for telling us, and we're so sorry your birthday cake wasn't what it should have been, especially after you'd loved your Passionfruit & Pistachio Cake. A crumbly sponge and firm icing aren't the standard we aim for, and you should have been offered a proper solution when you first got in touch. We've now been in touch with you directly to put this right, and we're sharing your feedback with our team.

Oh dear. Scones and cakes 5/10 I’m afraid
A gift received for which we were most grateful. Scones, clotted cream and jam with two different cakes. Oh dear! Jam and cream were fine. Scones dry and pretty solid. Chocolate cake solid and very dry. We made an effort but half went into the bin.

Hi Mr Kent,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and we're sorry this one wasn't up to our usual standard.
A little tip for next time: our scones are at their best warmed gently in the oven for a few minutes, and the cakes are lovely once they've come up to room temperature.
We'd really like to look into this, so please email hello@cutterandsquidge.com with the sender's name or order number and our team will pick it up straight away.

Exceptional
Last year a friend sent a gift of 12 brownies to me which were delicious. Since then I’ve ordered the brownie gift online x 6 for various friends and family and never been disappointed.
Recently I mistakenly thought that I’d qualify for free delivery as I’d made an order for over £50 however I overlooked the fact that this was for one order not multiple orders. As a goodwill gesture the customer experience team refunded the delivery charge which says a lot about how the company operates and how they value their customers. Thoroughly recommend!
Thank you Cutter and Squidge 😊
