Helpful, courteous and efficient service in answer to my request to amend my car insurance policy.

I was passed straight through to Kayleigh as I needed Home insurance that covered building works in my home. Kayleigh was very polite knowledgeable and helpful with a lovely manner. Very quick and effective in dealing with my query!

Felt compelled to write a review. The CQ home insurance policy was purchased though a comparison site just over a year ago. The renewal docs came through the post a few weeks ago; they’d crept the price up despite me making no claims (seems standard for this shady industry) so I had no intention of renewing.
Then I had an email. Then a missed call/voicemail. Then more correspondence in the post. At this point I did answer a call, and it was them. Explained I wouldn’t be renewing, all fine. But days later, another email. Then two more missed calls with voicemails. Finally (so far) a text message this morning. If you do purchase a policy with them, be prepared to be thoroughly harassed as the policy end date approaches.

I recently had a water leak (underground) at our property so I called Computerquote for advice. They told me to ring Covea (the Insurers) which I did and they told me I should ring Computerquote !!!!, which I did again, they then said I should ring Covea again. To be honest I gave up, no-one wanted to help or show any responsibility at all. The combination of Computerquote and Covea was TERRIBLE, so avoid if you can. Although, I have just been sent my renewal 'papers' from Computerquote and their Insurers this time is Ageas......who knows if this will be an improvement but I will be going elsewhere. As regards my water leak, I had to get a company in to sort it all.

Disgraceful

I am disgusted that a company like this only think about money when people are dying all over the world.

They do not care that people are dying and losing jobs or cannot work due to the virus.

It is disgraceful considering every other company has been very sympathetic and understanding.

It is companies like this that give the industry a bad name.

poor service charged £25 for late documents that were not sent by email then asked if they could post them did not arrive asked again if they could post them again did not arrive so I phoned to cancel and they told me that I had gone over the 14 day cooling off period (which was the time I was waiting for the documents)so I would have to pay a £50 fee to cancel. cheap insurance I can only imagine the problems if you had to make a claim I'm glad I got out.

Same issue as a previous review, charged £25.00 for not signing documents, when I phoned to say I have not received any documents to sign, they said look in your junk emails, they were not there! I asked them to prove they had sent them and they couldn't so re-emailed them again, but the charge would still stand.

I bought home insurance and have never made a claim. However when I came to make a claim mysteriously an additional £300 voluntary excess was applied. Never has this happened before. We then requested to cancel the policy. A refund was due of £48.17 from Aviva, yet was withheld. When I called Computerquote they said they owned us nothing and should have charged us £50 for the privilege of cancelling! we’re lucky we weren’t charged! All I can say is WOW. The problem with this company is that all they care about screwing as much money out of the customer as possible. They are swerving claims, by adding excesses and the blame the client citing the previous search engine was at fault . They do not care at all that people are in crisis when they need to make a claim-

Update to computer quote- I am not going to supply my personal details on a public forum. But I have experienced very poor customer service, and citing small print is not good enough. The public should know how bad your firm is. Aviva said is was due a refund and it was not paid. My Insurance was through Aviva. I will be making a complaint to the FCA. MINUS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

AVOID using this company. I recently took out car insurance with them and subsequently had to cancel within the first month of the policy. Cancellation fees are incredibly high and punitive. In effect the cancellation fee included the brokers full profit margin - complete rip off. Plenty of other firms that only inc a small percentage of their margin in their cancellation fees. DO NOT RECOMMEND

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . My tv broke and requested it be checked under accidental damage . First when they came to collect the tv they phoned us and said they couldn’t collect as there was too many stairs . For your information we live in a bungalow with disabled access . Basically the collection company couldn’t be bothered that day . Finally a collection of our tv ..... 3 weeks pass with no update . We tried calling numerous times , finally to be told it wasn’t under the insurance and we would have to fix the tv ourselves , we said that’s fine and was awaiting the tv to be delivered back to us .... again 3 weeks later and no attempt to deliver it back to us until we kept chasing and chasing! Terrible service start to finish being passed around two or three different companies. And the final nail in the coffin was that when we got our tv back they had forgot the stand and now can’t find it . We are left with no way to stand our tv up without buying an expensive wall bracket .

Do not bother taking any pet insurance with this company before reading their 20 pages of exclusions.

Purchased from confused.com a year ago - no reason to contact them since. Renewal notice by email & letter.

Unfortunately 1 Star is too much for this company.
Sent no details, or policy, and then sent me a letter saying they were charging me £25.
Called them and they took no blame.
Said they would have to resend them and if I didn't send back again (How can it be if I never got in first place) the charge would stand.
Asked why they felt they were not to blame and was just ignored.
Every answer they gave me was like they were talking down to me.
I said because of their attitude in fact I wanted to cancel the policy.
No attempt to stop me leaving. Just said "you are not getting any money back".
Asked them to make sure they didn't take any more. Again ignored.
So I said I would be sending in a GDPR request and tgey said I had to complete their form.
When I asked for it they said it was on their website.
No help. Nothing.
Avoid like the plague.
