I have been using coffee direct for many years and cannot fault their service, have tried many different types of beans. Enjoyed some and not others but that is down to taste, been a subscriber for Monsoon Malabar during lockdown and can say the process works seamlessly.. after 3 months just switched to Old Java and that was very easy to do.. I recommend using them

Brilliant online shopping experience. From ordering and navigation through the website, order tracking and delivery it was simple ands easy. Oh, and the coffee is just amazing.

Coffee Direct are excellent in all respects.Ordering is quick as is the delivery and such a wide range of coffees, with plenty of info on how to choose your preferred taste etc They are also excellent at answering emails and responding to requests for info on products, status of orders and all aspects of service. James is excellent and thanks for taking the time to email me recently James - spot on. As a Director of a Company I am very impressed and continue to buy coffee from you guys on a regular basis and recommend to friends and family. L.

I received their Christmas pack that consisted of 12 x 60 gram packs of various coffees. I have been involved with coffee for 20 years as a hobby. The box was opened and as a minimum, the bags are supposed to have a batch number on plus a best before date. There was neither meaning had I contacted the firm to discuss the coffee, they would have no ability to find out when the coffee was roasted in case there had been a problem. This means the coffee could be months old when opened. I left a review from a link they sent, criticising them for this lack of legal detail and also saying that the coffee beans of the three packs I had tried were so dark ad oily, the only taste coming through was burnt ash! This is not me complaining because the beans were not to my palate. I regularly drink beans roasted to the same level and find them enjoyable. The point of leaving a bad review was to let others see my experience and also I wrongly though coffee-direct might contact me to discuss. Wrong, they merely deleted my review. So, I have emailed them which in itself is a difficult thing to do as the only point of contact (no phone number) is an internal form. I do not expect to hear from them although I sincerely hope they do ring me.
My advice would be, avoid!
Reply: As stated in the review, the pack was an Xmas gift so I have no order number. In the review that you so kindly deleted I explained at length that my concerns were over your incorrect labelling of the bags meaning you would not be able to trace the various batches that these come from. I do not need any help with brew methods but thanks for the offer. If you want to continue this conversation on in private, yesterday I did used your internal contact form to expand further, though was not hopeful of receiving a reply. It seemed the only way to get you to reply was via criticism in the public arena.
To recap, it is not fair to criticise a company if you do not like the taste of the coffee as that maybe down purely to personal preference. I did not like the taste of the coffee but my main concern was the lack of roast information

First time using this company,can’t fault them from ordering to delivery everything went fine.Kept upto date every step of the way,ordered on the 10th arrived on the 12th on standard delivery.Brilliant thank you..

Having used another company for a number of years, I discovered Coffee-Direct and what a delight. I haven't used coffee which is this fresh since our local roaster closed down 10 years ago.
Really excellent coffee, super fast service and delivery and helpful beyond the norm.
James in the office has advised me on a couple of points for which I'm grateful.
Highly recommended.

The selection of coffee is excellent in my view - good range of beans and I particularly like the fact they are roasted and dispatched on the same day. This is the only place I will buy my coffee from now on.

Good coffee. I use their expresso grind option, had caramel flavour, vanilla, Colombian and Monday morning coffee. They are all excellent on expresso machine! Website is brilliant too and ease of ordering is there.

I opened an account with Coffee Direct on Tuesday morning, ordering 2 large packs of coffee beans. As I spent over £30, I qualified for 10% discount and free postage - nice!
Email notifications were received, advising to expect my order the next day!
So this morning, Wednesday morning, I took delivery of my coffee beans.
This is the best online purchasing experience I have had. Amazing!

PS - the coffee is delicious too!!

Great customer service from Tammy, we have had a lot of issues with a specific courier not delivering to our address but Tammy personally followed it up to ensure we got our delivery safe and sound. Great product at great value. We will continue to use and cannot reccomend highly enough! Thank you

Delivery took a bit more but everything good in the end

No complaints at all. Coffee is roasted to order and always great quality for the price. Customer services are very responsive and replied to my query within a couple of hours on Easter bank holiday weekend. Having used other companies coffee-direct is definitely the best, I can’t see myself using anybody else.

Delivery takes ages despite opting for 'express' delivery. When it finally showed up, the coffee was weak and tasteless. Won't be using these guys again needless to say!

I ordered some Monsoon Malabar Coffee and it was so disgusting I couldn't drink any of the coffee I made. What's worse, I left a bad review on their website and it hasn't been published. I wrote to them separately to ask why and haven't received a response. So it seems they are suppressing bad reviews and must be avoided.

Initial review of delivery and communication is POORsince in 4 days the only progress is the parcel being collected from Coffee-Direct. So I very much doubt the 3-5 day delivery will be fulfilled. On contacting Coffee-Direct to ask how comes in 4 days the only progress is the parcel being collected I received "Your parcel is within the system, I can see it has been collected from our supplier OK" basically repeating what I sent them!

We wanted to taste the famous coffee and searched the internet for a decent price...............Coffee-direct had it in stock and at a reasonable price. I made the order and it arrived a few days later. The coffee actually works out a lot cheaper than buying a cup of normal coffee from some well known high street brands!
