I was absolutely dreading the CP top up course, but Nick Player and the Cobra team has combined an effective way of learning the new rules and regulations with a bit of fun of covering the physical intervention. Thank you for making it bearable and effective.

Amazing course with an awesome instructor (Nick Player). The course is very informative, fun and really expands your mind and awareness. The course is divided into sections so you are learning different things all the time. This keeps your interest and enhances your skills, developing new abilities and really makes you think about the choices that you make and also of the outcomes. This Close Protection Course is a huge step up. I highly recommend it to all security personnel who want to operate at the top level!

Amazing experience with great instructor

Had an enjoyable Close Protection Course (instructed by Nick Player) in London. The course content and delivery were on point and, without underplaying any previous courses I have attended, this was the best course thus far. Having attended various courses, especially during my military career, I highly recommend this course and you will undoubtedly walk away very content with the knowledge acquired, despite the course’s demand. Overall a very exciting, challenging and undoubtedly best delivered course; highly recommended.

Nick our trainer was truly engaging, encouraging and supportive. He explained the course, the course materials, objectives perfectly and has instilled a good ethic for us the learners, I truly hope to undertake further training with cobra!

I attended a SIA CP top up course prior to re licensing.
I booked the course online through ‘Get Licensed’ and the training company was Cobra UK Security.
My point of contact with Cobra was Theresa Wood. From the off Theresa was efficient , helpful and caring . Never more so than when I had to change the date of my original course . This was as a result of work issue.
Theresa immediately put my concerns to bed and straight away booked me on a course next available date.
Theresa was the perfect ambassador for Cobra.
I successfully completed and passed my 3 day course In Ilford.
The standard of training delivery was outstanding.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Cobra for any SIA security training.

Excellent presentation by both trainers. They were two of the best trainers I have had on any course that I’ve completed since getting my CP licence in 2009.

Cobra was a great company to do the course with. Nick the instructor was great! He delivered all the information in a way that was easy to understand. I would recommend Cobra for anyone looking to complete this course.

Everything from Cobra’s side (our instructor Nick, the communication for admin, the course itself, the other staff who came in to help, the list goes on) was all amazing. So happy for the price. The location wasn’t great, but they do different locations if you’d prefer. So all in all, so happy with the course, and grateful to the entire team for everything. Also met some awesome fellow students which always makes a huge difference.

The only downsides had nothing to do with Cobra!
1) I booked through get licensed, who I had a few issues with. All though hats off to them they did try extremely hard sort out their mistake and dealt with the issue
2) The exams, are from a separate company who I believe are to do with SIA. Those papers were very poorly written, with some questions being totally incoherent. I’m guessing it was their attempt to try and catch people out, but it actually just made the papers unworkable

I am satisfied by Cobra training, it’s been a great course with a great trainer who really cared about our success and advices us with credibility as very experienced.

The practical trainings was great and allow us all to demonstrate our skills and work as a team like in real situations.

The only bad point would be the SIA questions in the question/answers exams but this have nothing to do with Cobra..
SIA have a particular way to word their questions and even answers.

Best company, nice teacher. I have learned alot and got some new skills all staff overall where very freindly and i am very happy i have found this company.

It was a well put together course. Presented by Nick Player in a very clear & concise manner. Humorous at times, which made for an enjoyable experience.
