We loved Honey Hook Cottage. You arrive on a single farm track, the cottage is at the end of that lane, first on the left. You can park your car outside the cottage. 2 steps up into the cottage. There is an enclosed garden which is just across the lane from the cottage, up about 10 steps. It’s a converted barn, which is ‘old worldly’, but also has the advantage of modern features. The wood burner was a bonus and wood was provided. Pet throws are also provided to put on the furniture. Welcome pack was also left for us, with milk, Welsh cakes, biscuits and wine!!, which was most welcome. Kitchen had everything we needed with the bathroom on the same level. Large shower where towels, flannels and even soap was provided. Upstairs we used the large double bedroom, the bed we found comfortable. Outside there is a bird feeder where bird food was also provided. Watching the birds feeding was lovely. Owls hooted in the evening which was also lovely and she stars were amazing as minimal light pollution. it’s fairly remote, yet the owners farmhouse is nearby if needed. Richard was friendly and even gave us some eggs from the chickens! You can walk around the farm, a map is provided, which also includes a woodland walk. Everything is relatively close by, but you do need a car. Plumstone Artisan Welshcakes is about a mile away and the Welshcakes are stunning. You can also order coffee and snacks and sit outside and enjoy the view. We visited the beaches which were amazing, clean and dog friendly (some restrictions on some beaches from 1st March - 30 September ), got to see seals in the sea! We also visited St David’s and looked around the Cathedral. We did love this cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Characterful, peaceful cottage on a farm. We loved our stay, the stars and the chickens. Farmer Richard is so accommodating and welcoming.
Best location for quiet and tranquility. Close to many sandy beaches and local amenities.
Cottage was lovely in a lovely rural quiet area, had a slight issue with the heating which the owner sorted straight away. We really enjoyed our time here and visiting the local sites have stayed here twice now. Would recommend if you love being out in the countryside away from local shops, then this will be perfect for you. Seen the squirrels, foxes and many species of wild birds, hope to stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Honey Hook Cottage. It’s a beautiful quiet location, homely, well equipped and extremely clean (thank you Maria). It was nice to chat with the owner too. If you have a dog there’s a lovely short walk from the door - perfect for a morning constitutional. The bathroom is downstairs and it’s really nice to have a decent sized shower with space for shelves so you don’t have to put your bits and pieces on the floor - a small thing but small things make a big difference. If you have a very delicate car (or occupants of said car) you might find the track a little bumpy. Thanks to Coastal Cottages, will definitely book with you again. What a refreshing approach - unobtrusive, efficient and personable.
My partner and his mum loved this cottage and would recommend it.
Very peaceful location and exceptionally well appointed cottage. Comfy beds.easily accessable down farm track and a short drive to the beach at broadhaven.Spacious downstairs which is ideal after a day on the beach! Lovely garden area.
Lovely cottage in a very quiet location down a farm track. Everything you need for a holiday stay. They provide towels, dish towels, toilet roll, soap, dish soap and dish sponge and cloth (we took our own and didn't actually need to). A gift was left for us-wine, biscuits, Welsh cakes and milk. They provided throws for the sofas in case the dog wanted to get on but again we had taken our own. We had remnants of a storm while there but inside the cottage we hardly noticed as it was lovely and warm (love thick cottage walls!!) We will definitely be staying again.
We had such a lovely stay at Honey Hook. So peaceful and the children loved the hens. We would definitely come back.
Lovely quiet place, but is showing signs of a much needed update.
Lovely little cottage, owners left a wonderful welcome pack. Very well equipped. Unfortunately we picked the week when it rained most days, but spent an hour or so each day just watching the birds feeding and we were amazed at the variety of birds, saw rabbits, pheasants, just loved it there. In the summer it must be glorious there.
Lots of pros: Lovely well equipped cottage, great location, peaceful, nice outdoor space aswell - would definitely stay again. Cons: lack of food storage space in kitchen (that's the only one!)
Been here many times , really love this cottage . the track down is a bit rough.
Beautful location, booked lastminute for a staycation in 2021. There was a wild baby bunny on the front lawn along with chickens as we pulled up - couldn't have been more idyllic. The cottage was very well equipped (did a full roast and everything we needed was there). Our three children even shared a room and didn't argue, it was pretty spacious. Lovely setting, local walks, great beaches nearby. We spent a lovely week here and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in the countryside.
