STRAIGHT RIP OFF!!
Super expensive and horrible fills on the ASK. If you are looking for a fast broker, who will fill your limit orders quickly, CMEG is NOT it. I lost a TON of money trying to use this broker, while speed trading with Warrior Trading. If you want a fast broker, pay for Lightspeed or IBKR, because FREE trading isn't free. They make their money off of kickbacks from the Clearing Houses, who place your trades. Guess why they get kickbacks? Because you don't get the best price for your order, the clearing house does.
If you're going to build an account, don't use margin. Then you're subject to PDT (look it up). Use a cash account which isn't subject to PDT and trade as much as you want.

Unrealiable, slow, limiting
This is a direct access broker, which charges monthly fee + per trade fee which is expensive compared to other brokers. Given those circumstances, I expect excellent reliability, speed, and capabilities. However, the following drawbacks occured regularly:
- Platform (Sterling Trader) crashes multiple times per day
- Executions are quite slow compared to other direct access brokers
- IPOs and recent IPOs cannot be traded for several days, which causes many opportunities to be missed.
