I have tried to contact you over 30 times on the phone but nobody picks up, via email but nobody replies, on your online forms which are ignored and via Facebook.

Sent a full bag of clothes which i personally checked first. only a QUARTER they said was acceptable as most were 'heavily worn' even unworn items. pictures taken didnt support what they classed as unacceptable! how can you take a picture of a hair on a top and call it DIRTY !! And faded jeans as heavily worn when thats the denims style. RIDICULOUS! paid me £2.01! definitely scammers! wish i read reviews first

Please note that the payment reflects the weight of suitable materials as per our purchase criteria which are stated in section 'What We Buy'. As a part of our service we take the photo-samples to show the defects due to which we cannot pay. After review the photo gallery of your order all of the photos depict the faults matching their description. We sell the clothes to be re-worn and we simply cannot sell anything onwards in an unsuitable condition. If we do not receive clothing in adequate condition we cannot operate.

Like other users, if I could give no stars I would. I wish I would have checked the reviews before using this service. I had used it years ago, so I decided to try again. Big mistake! It seems they are under new management.
Not only did it take them a week to tell me that my clothes were 100% accepted, but that I hadn’t packed enough: so I wouldn’t be receiving anything. I had packed enough. I already wasn’t expecting much, but nothing is ridiculous.
Obviously, I can’t even have the items returned to me: without incurring an extra expense to myself. So, essentially I have been stolen from.
I’ve also noticed the company doesn’t allow comments on Facebook, and any messages left on social media seem to be deleted. Which seems incredibly deceitful.
My only hope now is that the items at least benefit a charity.
Just do not use! It would be better to donate it.

Please kindly be informed your Clothes for Cash bag has been collected on 2nd March and has been sorted on 15th March, during busy periods bag processing can take up to 18 days from receipt. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with payment on this occasion as bags weighing less than 10 kg do not qualify for payment. We state our minimum weight clearly three times prior to collection - on our website, on the return bag and once again when you book your collection.
The reason we insist on this minimum is to offset the costs involved with sending and collecting the bags free of charge. We need to receive at least 10 kg of clothing to break even with transport costs. When we receive underweight bags, we actually make a loss.
Unfortunately we are unable to return any items once they have been sent to us. We do make this clear on our website and in the Terms and Conditions, to which you agreed when you registered with us.
As long as feedbacks, messages or post left in social media are relevant, true and do not consist any slanderous language they are not removed. In case of any concerns about your bag valuation outcome please contact us directly.

I’d like to give 0 stars, had my bag of clothes early December, eventually sent a cheque on 10th jan that has never turned up. I’ve told them to put the money to charity now! Will never use again, don’t waste your time.

Don't bother with clothesforcash. I sent them a massive full bag of 17kg worth of clothes, some of which were new with the tag on. A month later i received an email saying 12kg of this was unacceptable and was sent £2.53. Was not expecting such a low amount.

Please note we were able to accept only about 5 kg of clothes packed in your bag, rest of the items failed to meet our purchase criteria. We state our purchase criteria several times prior to booking a collection of the bag so customers are aware what is suitable and what is not. Your payment is based on the amount of clothes that we were able to accept as per section 'What We Buy' on our website.
We try to be as transparent as possible when classifying the clothes and as a part of our service we provide selection of rejected photos and explanations on why we said the item has been rejected. You can review photo gallery of your rejected photo-samples through your account on our website.

Provided a large bag of clothes which included 3 pairs of never worn leather boots. Received 66p as allegedly 75%of the clothes were heavily worn. Photos of 3 different pieces of clothing did not support this. Very disappointing.

The payment reflects the weight of materials in adhere to our purchase criteria. Please also note all our cheques are the subject of handling fee £0.99 which is subtracted from the total amount earned. Unfortunately you have sent us items for which we clearly state we cannot pay. We do not try to be deliberately unfair when classifying clothing as suitable or unsuitable.
As stated on our website very clearly and also in the terms & conditions that you ticked as read and accepted when requesting your free collection pack, we pay 50 pence per kilogram for all types/brands/designs of clothing, shoes and accessories that we accept as per the "What We Buy" section of our website.

"Fantastic service from start to finish and so easy to use."
Searched online for a company which would pay me for my unwanted clothes and clothesforcash was the best by far with regards to payment and collection options. I was then able to easily request a sack online which was sent directly to me and I loved the simplicity of being able to fill and then request a collection at a time and date of my choice from their site. I received payment directly to my Paypal account upon valutaion, from start to finish the contact between myself and clothesforcash has been very organised and professional and I would highly recommend this service to anyone, I can't wait to use the service again!

Clothes piling up, had a clear out, found clothes for cash, easily ordered a sack from the website, filled it, requested next day collection, cash was in my account within 24hrs..
I then treated myself with a new wardrobe from primani!.

Great site! Requested my sack, cleared my wardrobe of anything I did not wear anymore.. shirts, shoes, anything, requested a collection for the next day and 3 days later received a payment by PayPal for £13.00.

Excellent Service and speedy payment!
I needed to get rid of my unwanted clothing so I scoured the internet looking for a place to sell my clothes to.
After searching around I found clothesforcash.com, who were the only site to collect from anywhere in the UK, especially in my local area.
I chose their cheque method of payment and for the clothing I sent to them I received £14 within 5 days of my collection being picked up!
I would recommend anyone who is looking to make some extra cash use the services of clothesforcash.com!
