Excellent service for both buying and selling
I have both purchased equipment from Clifton Cameras and sold equipment to them and have been impressed with the level of customer service. I have always received quick responses to my emails and their pricing is competitive and comparable to other leading retailers.
I initially considered selling my camera privately on eBay but decided against the potential hassle. I then looked at MPB, but Clifton Cameras offered a better quote.
Based on my experiences so far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clifton Cameras. I'm planning to buy a smaller camera in the New Year and given the excellent service I have received previously, Clifton will be my first and only choice. Highly recommended!

I sent over my Seestar s30 for px towards another product
I sent over my Seestar s30 for a possible px towards an upgrade Seestar s50 pro which is a lot more expensive,I was originally given a price for around £200 for mine which I was happy with but when sent over for your valuation knocked £50 off because a small charge lead was missing and said there was scratches on the equipment so refused the new valuation and had it sent back when I looked at the returned goods there was not one scratch on it at all I have found the small charge lead which would cost a very small amount I believe you wanted to get my Seestar s30 on cheep I had also paid a small holding fee for the Seestar s50 pro you had advertised but I have decided not buy because of your customer service

Very disappointing communication…
Very disappointing communication regarding my pre-order.
I placed a pre-order and, despite repeatedly trying to get a clear update, Clifton Cameras have provided virtually no useful information about when stock is expected or when my order is likely to be dispatched.
Other UK retailers have already received and shipped units, yet Clifton Cameras still seem unable — or unwilling — to provide customers with a clear delivery estimate, shipment date, or even meaningful information about incoming stock.
For a pre-order of an expensive product, I would expect much better communication and transparency. Customers should not have to keep chasing a retailer just to find out what is happening with their order.
At the moment, the whole experience has been extremely frustrating and the level of communication has been very poor.
I hope they improve this and start giving pre-order customers clear, honest and regular updates.

Purchase of mint condition fujixh2
I ordered a Fujixh2 camera body on 11th October and it arrived on 13th October. To receive it you had to give the specific delivery number to the courier which I thought was a good idea. It was very well packaged. Sold in mint condition and so far it is looking good. Too early to say about performance as I am charging the battery. Previous to my order Clifton Cameras had replied to my email enquiries in a prompt manner. So far a refreshing change!

My telescope was on pre-order and needed to know when it would be delivered as I was going on holiday. I used the online chat system and the representative was very helpful assuring me that the item would not be sent out before receiving an email. Telescope was delivered after my holiday finished.
