The windscreen replacement technician Brandon was here when he said he would be and upon arriving promptly got on with replacing my windscreen,
I left him to it and he rang half an hour later to let me know that the job was finished,
He left my van clean with no broken glass anywhere to be found, I found Brandon very polite and courteous,

Very efficient and professional service. Initial phone call was excellent by ensuring the correct windscreen was ordered. The windscreen was fitted the next day by coming to my property whilst I was working at home. Very good a professional service all round.

Had my windscreen replaced by Brandon, who called to let me know when he'd be arriving. He was polite and friendly, explaining the process before he started and making sure to give me after-care advice. The process from booking to finish was very simple and I wouldn't hesitate to use Chips Ahoy again .. but hopefully not for a very long time!

I had to go to uni but I let Brandon know the keys were in the car unlocked. He did an amazing job and placed my youdrive box in the middle of the dashboard where I could find it and posted the keys again. Would recommend.

Joseph was polite and friendly, fitted the new screen with no problems. He chatted while he did it, made me feel very welcome while I waited. I called late in the afternoon with a big crack, was able to have a new screen fitted lunchtime the next day.

Booked a chip repair and Chip Ahoy came the next day to repair. The technician quickly identified the chip couldn’t be invisibly repaired and gave me options. I decided to proceed and I am happy with the repair. Will use Chip Ahoy again.

I took my Vauxhall Zafira to Chips Ahoy for a simple windscreen replacement. What should have taken an hour turned into a three-hour nightmare – and I left with nothing done except a more damaged old windscreen and £80 stolen from me.

Here's what happened:

They removed my original windscreen. Then they tried to fit a new one. But they never bothered to check if the new windscreen was the correct match for my car – the most basic, elementary step in the entire job. Of course, it was the wrong windscreen. It didn't fit.

After I had already waited three hours, they finally realized their mistake. They then had to remove the wrong one and put my old windscreen back – but this time with more damage than before. So I drove away three hours later with a car in worse condition than when I arrived, and no new windscreen fitted.

When I asked for my £80 deposit back, they refused. I had to take legal action to recover my own money from these people.

Anthony was very helpful when. booking and Charlie did an amazing job of fitting my windscreen and at a much more reasonable price than a competitor. would recommend to anyone.

Was my first time visiting , Charlie did a full new windscreen for me as mine was completely damaged due to broken wipers….. Great knowledge, great price, completed the next day ready for my re MOT, super quick and easy, thanks, would defo recommend and no cowboys in-site, perfect !!!

Had a massive chip on my windscreen, so I called the closet place which was Chips Ahoy Joseph answers the phone, top quality guy gave me a time to come as they were busy, he was kind, friendly and the job got done in a quick time and it was done to top standard can barely see the chip. If you ever want to get you windscreen fixed or replaced, I spoke to them about the bad review that they have been getting and they sadly had a Sub team that kept letting them down. Since getting there new team it has been up hill. ( my mate got a mobile screen replaced and went well) reason I had asked about the shit reviews. Anyways if you ever want it done ask for Joseph. Top man. Highly recommended.

Called chips ahoy as while I was driving my car it got hit by a stone and got a chip in the windscreen. They were very helpful, as I wasn't sure if it classed as a chip or a crack and was obviously worried. They fit me in same day at their basildon garage. Took about half an hour total. Joe did the repairs and was brilliant. Very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

I’m not the most savvy when it comes to vehicles and I get nervous having things like this done but the whole process was made as straight forward as can be from the first phone call, I was given options, he explained the differences, he explained everything to me and really did assist me with finding the best option available.. (price wise too!)
