Purchased an Audi A3 from the Portadown dealership. Sorted out any issues which arose. Salesman was Curtis and he kept me informed of any updates on issues raised

Charles Hurst Used Direct Belfast. Clueless salesman (David) who turned into a manchild when the sale fell through due entirely due to his own incompetence. Multiple phone calls, walk around video, confirmation of service history, lead to a viewing appointment being agreed. I advised that I was travelling from over 3 hours away, and that if the car was as advised, prepped and ready for sale then I would purchase and take with me on the day. When we landed on the agreed day, he looked suprised. The car had to be pulled out of the back of the yard and was neither fully prepped or ready for sale. It had a check engine light fault showing, and two defective rear tyres (perished/cracked side walls). There was thick green algae still showing under the roof bars, that along with the tires indicated that the car was sitting up for a long time. Salesman claimed ignorance to the cars history, and refused to accept to tyres were defective. A near 8 hour round trip for incompetence, lies and embarrasing behaviour. Throughly unprofessional experience.

Booked my car into Charles Hurst Renault Newtownabbey for a service and water pump replacement. The car was returned with both jobs completed and on time as promised, and cleaner than I left it in thanks to to a free valet. I have used this garage in the past and will continue to use them in the future, as I have found them to be professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend them.

Friendly staff but quite dear for repairs.

We dealt with Jack Pitman and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Jack was extremely friendly and professional- any questions about the car, talked through all available options be it finance / car care / the next steps.

Test drove the car on Sat 1st August and drove it away on Tuesday 4th August.

My service was far too expensive nearly £700 for not much more than an oil change is disgraceful

I went to view a 2019 nissan qashqai on sale for £9240 , got talking to a salesman regarding the car who told me the car would come with a 24 month charles hurst warranty which turned out to be an absolute lie , after I boought the car i looked for this 24 month warranty through every e-mail I was sent , only to find a 12 month warranty through RAC which is costing me £499 for 12 months , at no point in the conversation about warranty was i told it would cost me £499 so I rang the dealership to lodge a complaint regarding this and was offered £250 cashback as way of an apology for mis selling a non existent warranty .
Issue 2 was after id left a deposit and went back to pick the car up noticed a scratch in the rear door that wasnt previously there , apparently the car valeter must have done this while preparing the car , ive been left to sort this scratch out myself .
Issue 3 , when I was driving the car home an exhaust heatshield fell off the car , I rang the garage regarding this and was told they would put the same corroded heatshield back on using large washers instead of replacing it with a new one but i would have needed to take a day off work to get this sorted but as it was a small job decided to repair it myself .
Issue 4 was that the car wasnt checked before the sale for roadworthiness , in my RAC warranty it stated i should have been handed a completed checklist which I didn't get , i raised this issue with the dealership who then took the car in for the day to do the checks (costing me a day off work) , when I went to pick the car up i was told the 2 front lower control arms (wishbones) were scrap and needed replaced and charles hurst would replace them for me but failed to tell me they were claiming through my £499 RAC warranty .
Issue 5 is a slight chugging feeling in 2nd and 3rd gear which feels like either the sparkplags are scrap or there's dirt in the fuel lines but I was told this chugging is perfectly normal in younger cars .
Anyone thinking of going to charles hurst used direct boucher road i would strongly advise against it , otherwise make sure they explain the warranty properly of who the warranty is with and how much you'll pay for your warranty and DO NOT leave a deposit unless they can prove the car is roadworthy to leave the dealership with in the first place .
The excitement of buying what I thought was a great car has very quickly worn off only to be replaced by a headache
5th september Update - the rac came out as my car wouldnt start and when the mechanic took it a short drive he pointed out that the car also needs a new clutch and thrust bearing at a cost of over £3000 so the dealership offered me a full refund on the car , basically admitting the car has too many issues going on with it so they told me my refund would be in mt account in 3 working days , now over a week later and still no refund in my account yet . . . And when i call them regarding the refund im being pushed from.one person to another , an absolute shambles of a company , avoid buying a car from here at all costs .

AVOID this place for car servicing. Extortionate pricing for hardly any work. I booked my car in for pre-agreed £330. I'm very much struggling to understand what they did for £330 because the service light is still on, ABS, hill-start alarms going off. I had to go back and tell them to do a diagnostics check on it. They detected a sensor fault which they were supposed to get back to me about today. Of course, they haven't. The health check they did was supposedly "complimentary". So, I think I spent £330 for an oil change. Absolute joke.

I just purchased a car with Lexus Belfast. The staff were fantastic, very informative, helpful and took their time to explain everything.

Our whole experience could not have been better. The customer service was exceptional. From start to finish Laura , Nathan and Karl were extremely friendly, courteous and professional. We had many questions as this was our first Lexus but nothing was too much trouble.

Sold completely the wrong automatic gearbox oil after insisting it was correct.
