We used this north london team for a south london event because nobody could give us a better price. The drivers and delivery team were on time and very professional. We got some vital details very late and that didn't affect the conversation between us and casablanca, any changes we had they were understanding and adaptable, a great team from the people on the telephone to the people who put your tent up. I'd definitely use them again... The question is would they have me as a client again lol

This is the letter I sent to the company post event.
Dear Victor,

I just wanted to write to say thank you very much for the beautiful marquee you sent us last week. It was exactly what we wanted and to cap it all the two gentlemen who came to erect it and dismantle it were completely lovely. 10 out of 10 to you as a company, it was an excellent experience with absolutely no hiccups. I wish you well and will be happy to recommend you if anybody I know everyone wants a marquee!

I use this company every year for our events and from the initial booking with Rob through to the guys installing the marquees - I had them booked for a meet and greet this weekend in London and because of the mini marathon they were held up by security - even though they had a special permit arranged by us, some do gooder would not let them in. They sat for well over and hour and a half and still erected this and nothing was too much trouble. - thank you

Hiring from Casablanca Hire was absolutely perfect, from consultation to delivery/pick up. I was very impressed with their customer service, especially going above and beyond with working with us as our delivery location was city of London which is a nightmare due to all the restrictions.

Tom was completely great to work with, and so was the delivery man, made sure to call me before delivery and pick up to make everything more efficient.

I highly recommend using them for any events you might have, as they really make it less stressful. Looking forward to working with them again in the future for other events!

Great team that provided the perfect marquee - which acted as our catering section - for two days of rehearsals and shooting for our production. We ordered an 8x4m marquee for a 50th birthday party in the back garden.
The delivery guys were fantastic. On time, fast, polite, just the nicest guys.
The marquee itself was superb. Clean, no holes or other damage, secured well. Lots of people at the party commented on how nice it was.
The pickup guys were excellent. Again, on time, fast, polite. They were in and out before I knew it.
We were very impressed by the whole experience and we would highly recommend Casablanca.

I was treated really badly as a repeat customer. This is a company I have used before, my first order was over £2,400 a week apart They had my address, the business is only about 5 minutes drive from where the second order was made. They failed to deliver for my event, I contacted their offices, spoke to someone who promised they’ll resolve the situation but didn’t. I wrote to ask for a refund of the undelivered hire cost of £419.30. They refused. This is the message I got from Will Turnbull the owner of the business.

“We appreciate that this recent experience has not been good for either of us and consider it best that we do not work together in the future.”

I am in the middle of pursuing this case via the small claims court.

I would advice anyone looking to do business with them to be very careful . I can share the interactions with this company with anyone who’d need it.

*I do not agree to the response given by Casablanca. You already had my address as part of our repeat dealings. You do not talk down to your customer when it was clear you could have done better when a customer brings to your attention her concerns, especially when this customer has done repeat business with you worth thousands of pounds. You did all your best by telling me not to do business with you again?… and you incurred cost of over £450 to a venue that’s 5 minutes from your company!

You’re a rouge trader and customer service is so bad! I will certainly see you in court.

Amazing experience! Victor and the team are the best in the business. We were organizing a family outdoor party, and rented a wonderful marquee and outdoor furniture and table ware. We're not professional event planners, and the Casablanca team were super patient with all our last minute requests, and made for a wonderful event!

We had never used a marquee company before, but I needed one for a 70th birthday party (originally scheduled for mid-March, but later rescheduled for early May owing to postponement of our event due to my contracting Covid).

Casablanca Marquees Ltd was recommended to us by my wife's nephew who's a professional events organiser and who had used Casablanca many times previously. So we didn't bother to look elsewhere and just went with the Casablanca recommendation.

We were not disappointed with the service! The two guys tasked with delivering and erecting our marquee (and the link tent between the house and the marquee) arrived dead on 9am the day before our event, as promised; and they had the whole job completed within two hours. The marquee itself and the link tent were suitably anchored to our patio using water-filled ballast units, so no need to drill anchor holes in walls or the patio; and the whole thing worked brilliantly on the day.

Then 2 days after the event, the crew was back as promised, to dismantle and remove everything, all of which was completed within about an hour. The delivery guys were really friendly, helpful and respectful. There was no damage of any sort and after they'd left, it was if there had never been an event.

So, although admittedly, I can't comment on price comparisons with other suppliers, the service we received was absolutely first class. So on that basis I would heartily recommend Casablanca Marquees to others

I've used Casablanca for a charity-run event two years on the trot now, and they are great. Lovely, friendly and professional staff and have been really helpful throughout the process. Decent prices too.

We were looking for a marquee in which to hold a lunch party to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary in November. Casablanca were recommended to us and I got in touch with them. I was pleased that they sent a staff member to look at our garden to see how the marquee would fit. He was also gave advice about the table arrangement, and reassured us about the heating. We then went ahead and ordered the marquee, heater, chairs, tables, table cloths, crockery and cutlery. Everything came exactly as specified. The marquee was put up in 2 hours, and looked lovely. We were delighted. The heater was very effective and we need not have worried about warmth.
I highly recommend Casablanca as a very pleasant and efficient company and have everything you need to hire for a special event.
