I am leaving a further review as 3 years ago I ordered a carpet from this company that they refused to fit as the contractor said my stairs were broken. A carpenter said there was nothing wrong with my stairs. Carpets 4 u installed a carpet with no issue at all and yet Carpetright refused to refund. I took every avenue possible but it seems in the UK companies like this can take your money and run. Please please beware of this company as they are crooks.

The staff are great, always happy to help and the store looks great. Shame the business went under and they didn't keep this store. The manager and all the staff are amazing in everyway, & I wish them all the best. Miss you guys.

Adam was great!!!
He didn't jump on us as soon as we walked in, It's one of my bug bares. He left us to browse, then gave us all the information we needed and didn't just try to sell us the most expensive. We brought carpets for 5 rooms, which was not easy!! Adam, however, made things clearer.

Terrible customer service, requested a refund over two months ago and due to their system being down and general incompetence I still haven’t received anything. Don’t trust this company!

Myself and my husband always use carpet right for our carpets as you can't beat the friendly, helpful staff who always go above and beyond to deliver the best customer service! Today Tom helped us and he was fab! Very helpful, friendly and professional made chosing and buying the carpet super easy! To top it off when we were paying for the carpet it was discounted too! Due to being discontinued! Perfect added extra treat! Thank-you again Tom for all your help.

Not too pushy as some companies can be but attentive enough to be on hand when help was needed. Excellent service so far. Hopefully delivery and installation will be just as smooth.

After getting an extortionate quote from a competitor flooring company, we popped into Carpetright Clacton after getting our rooms measured up in the comfort of our home by the friendly & knowledgeable Jake. We were greeted at the Clacton store by lovely Gemma, who was extremely knowledgeable and gave us amazing advice on how to floor our house within our modest budget. We were thrilled with the clearance section, and managed to get a brilliant deal on a selection of plush carpet luckily to our measurements. Gemma was supported by the lovely Dean, and together they were the most fantastic duo! We came away with a full house of flooring for 7k less than the competitor quote, absolutely thrilled! We returned the day after to add extra underlay & grippers to our order after our tradesmen had cheekily disposed of the stuff we were set to keep, and once again Dean was the most unreal friendly chap! Top class service from Gemma & Dean at Clacton Carpetright. Would whole heartedly recommend to all, nothing was too much effort for the team. We really appreciated their care, patience & good humour to help us floor our new home with ease.

I only received temporary emails . Could not get logged in to account. Received no email to say when it was going to be delivered . Consequently it was delivered when we were out we do have a porch but delivery driver decided to leave it out the front in the pouring rain all day . Fortunately it was wrapped well, but would have liked confirmation of when it was going to be delivered so could have made alternative arrangements.

A good range of carpets in store. When we picked one we were dealt with by a really nice friendly chap, who sorted the order for us in good time.

Dean at the Clacton branch was extremely knowledgeable and helpful - listening to our requirements and advising accordingly.
We were able to find the quality of carpet that we needed and it came in under-budget.
