The alarm was returned via Royal mail…

The alarm was returned via Royal mail post signature on delivery on 11/01/25 as it was no longer required as father in law had been admitted to care home who have their own system. The alarm was never activated and we are still waiting for a full refund.

Online order

Very easy to order online and arrived the next day. Easy to install. Only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that when I had to phone because I hadn't received confirmation that the users details had been registered I spent a long time on hold. The person I spoke to promised to call me back the following day and didn't resulting in me having to call again and was on hold for some time again. Have yet to test the personal alarm so can't comment on the service provided in the event of an emergency.

The operatives were helpful with directions

The operatives were helpful and friendly. Didn't rush their directions. Important for older people.

Far too many emails

Far too many emails sent after contact. It was established the back up battery was not charging & a new unit would be sent yet you continued to ask me to plug it in & do a test call. You sent a new unit, when we plugged it in it was faulty, when we spoke with an operator, we were told there was a known fault with some units as they had not been programmed correctly- surely you would have tested them if a fault was known about before sending them out.
All the operators were pleasant.

Time-consuming WiFi set-up

Time-consuming set-up with no WiFi connection instructions.
As mobile network where my Dad lives is very poor, WiFi connection is essential. The sales lady couldn't tell me how it was done but said it would be easy.
Well it took around 2 hours to set up yesterday (on a Sunday). Maybe their customer services are quicker to get through to during the week. 20 minutes on hold to customer services and multiple calls to get things set up and clarify a few issues.
The fall alarm when dropped from height does not register a fall as it supposedly can tell the difference between the unit being dropped and when worn on the wrist. I did another test and slapped my arm down on the floor and it did register. I'm not sure I would trust it if worn as a pendant.
When trying to test the system all the way to calling our emergency contacts, I was asked not to as the call centres were very busy.
So we are left just keeping our fingers crossed that the fall alarm will work and the call centre have the correct emergency call numbers.
Not really the peace of mind we were hoping for at £120 per 3 months.

Excellent communication and support

Excellent communication and instructions. Quick delivery and easy to install. The call handlers were efficient and helpful when we were doing our initial set up. It’s given me peace of mind knowing that my lovely Mum is now wearing the pendant.

Great product

This was so easy to set up with the help of a person called Sam. Sam was knowledgeable and efficient. We are really happy with the product and it gives my Mum confidence to live independently.

I did not receive the order but I…


I did not receive the order but I called the next day to cancel the order. As of today no refund has been received. I have spoken to someone called Mark and Jenna who keeps asking me to return the equipment which did not arrive. Please arrange for my full refund to my account as soon as possible. I have now spoken to 3 different people with the same script "WE WILL REFUND THE MONEY ONCE THE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN RETURNED"

I am now going to write a review on trust pilot. How long does it take to refund money direct to my card,
The equipment did not arrive at my address. I REPEAT THE EQUIPMENT DID NOT ARRIVE AT MY ADDRESS. PLEASE REFUND ME MY MONEY.

Purchase of pendant alarm

I spoke to Carrie at Carelink24 who arranged the purchase of a pendant alarm for my mum. Carrie was knowledgeable and very helpful it was a pleasure talking to her and the pendant was ordered with ease.

Telephone contact

Telephone contact was made ! All questions answered. Equipment arrived within 24 hrs ! I chose not to complete the form on line so a paper copy was sent ! All set up and ready to go within 5 days ! Excellent service although Next years direct debit is much much more ! Not sure if I will renew the contract !
