Seamless installation
The removal of my old stackable washer and dryer and the installation of the the new ones went seamless. I’m just concern the vent tube behind the dryer is long . It only has one 90 degree bend to the wall but the tube behind the dryer has a figure 8 bend. I might have to watch this hoping it will not cause a fire hazard. Or should I just cut it so the vent tube will have a shorter path to the wall? I will find out in a few days if the appliances works fine…

Installation package was useless
Recently purchased a new replacement washing machine. Package included installation. The installers came and installed the washer but left the bottom steel cover that goes underneath the washer off to the side. I called customer service and they said they don't install that part and I have to install it myself (CAS never once mentioned this to me nor is this stated anywhere on their site when purchasing).
So basically the install service they provided is useless. I had to travel to the destination, remove the hoses pull out the machine, tilt the machine over and install the cover myself then reinstall all the hoses myself. The whole reason I went with this package was to avoid this entire hassle. What a headache.
On top of that the installer's never removed their dirty boots or put shoe covers on when entering the home. When they were asked, their excuse was that it is a safety issue. However we had a baby that lives there and crawls on the floor, so how is that fair to us??

Full Price, Damaged Delivery, and No Real Support
Bought a brand new fridge at full price, and it arrived with a bump on the door.
I reported the issue immediately and requested a full replacement from the beginning. However, it later became clear that the after-sales team only contacted the manufacturer regarding a repair, not my original request. I was then told that only a repair would be approved.
The delivery process was also frustrating — the team didn’t attempt to remove the fridge doors before saying it wouldn’t fit, didn’t point out any damage, and were quite pushy about getting the paperwork signed, which made the whole process feel rushed. The bump was not reasonably noticeable at the time, given how the fridge was positioned during delivery.
Now that same signature is being used to deny responsibility.
After-sales support has not been helpful. I was told to “wait 2 business days,” but it has now been about a week, and the fridge is still sitting in my garage. I was also told this delay is because I did not accept the repair, which feels unreasonable.
The entire process has been unnecessarily prolonged, with no clear resolution.
This is not what you expect when paying full price for a brand new appliance. I would not recommend this company unless everything goes perfectly — because if something goes wrong, the support is not there.

It is our goal to deliver damage-free appliances; however, as we do not manufacture these units, we are unaware of any concealed damages prior to delivery.
Since the damage was reported after delivery, the unit no longer qualifies for a replacement. However, your product is covered under warranty, as noted by the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.
A request for a door replacement has been submitted to GE, and a case manager has been assigned to your order.
