Quick solution to my "glitch"
I ordered my sign 18 days ago!
I ordered my sign 18 days ago. Today I received an email that they refunded my money. The chat agent said there was a glitch and I would not have to redesign my entire order. That means 18 days wasted. So I asked for expedited shipping and she said she would have to have me redesign the entire sign and then call and ask if they would do that. I think I'm most upset that I wasted 18 days and didn't even receive a courtesy call. If you need your sign right away, just know that they can't be trusted for that.

Bad Experience Ordering From Buildasign - First time customer
This was my first time ordering from BuildASign, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
I placed an order for a sign on March 19. Shortly after, I received an email from the company saying my file might not be high enough resolution for printing. Since they had flagged a potential problem with the file, I assumed the order would not move forward until I had the chance to review or approve the proof. However, I was traveling and unable to respond right away.
On March 21, I received another message saying the sign had already been sent to production and ordered, even though I had never approved moving forward after they raised the resolution concern.
When I contacted customer service, their only solution was to offer a partial refund, which I do not think is reasonable given that the order proceeded without my approval after they themselves identified an issue with the file.
In my opinion, if a company flags a problem with a customer's artwork, they should wait for confirmation before moving forward with production. Customers should be aware that this may not happen with BuildASign.
Because this was my first experience ordering from BuildASign, it was especially disappointing. I would strongly recommend that customers confirm exactly how the proof approval process works before placing an order.

I made a repeat order of feather flags…
I made a repeat order of feather flags that we have ordered multiple times from BuildASign. When they were delivered, they came with no carrying case (which they always have in the past) and the poles that came with them were far larger than the flag was meant for. They were completely unusable. I reached out to the support and it took weeks of emailing back and forth and me sending pictures and videos to show that they did not work together. I then did not hear back for MONTHS. I emailed several times asking for updates after they told me their team would review it and for months got nothing back. Finally they got back to me and said that they were sending new poles for the flags. My original purchase was last May. It took me some time to notice that the wrong poles were sent but you can see how long it took me emailing the support to have them send me something that we could actually use. I am glad that they finally are sending those (have not received them yet) but it was a very unfortunate experience with their customer service. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to help me out. We ordered our flags here for years but I think I will be finding another vendor after this experience.

Not all items arrived..Customer service reached out to replace items and only got 1 of 4 items that we needed. Had to contact again to get full order. Customer service was good but overall it was a hassle with getting only half the order and having to reach out to once again get the rest of the order shipped to us.

Didn’t ask for my shipping address. Claimed they’d ship 5-6 days ended up taking three weeks. Long delayed response times. Was promised Thursday instead got sent four days later ups next day. Lots of excuses very little accountability. Overall very strange process of invoicing brokerage claiming they’d bill on the backend believe me that didn’t happen.
