Amazing quality of fabrics at great prices. I received my order the next day. The quality is truly extraordinary. Very happy with the purchase and service. I would definitely buy again.

Really disappointing service. I ordered a large amount of fabric and paid £11.99 for quicker delivery. Order came very quickly but was missing two items. The note said the others would be delivered soon... what is soon!? No apology. Tried to ring to cancel as I needed this ASAP- nobody answers the phone. Emailed to cancel, no reply. The last part of the order only just arrived after almost two weeks of ordering. Really sad and disappointing as I like to shop local, but I'll be avoiding this shop now.

Rubbish! I’ve waited longer than I thought for my fabric, no one answers the phone and they have ignored two emails.
I’ve reported to my bank.
DO NOT buy from this company, the customer service is absolutely appalling, the guy (Gary) that emailed me was beyond rude!!!!!!!!
Still not received my fabric,I can’t believe how they treat their customers, I buy a lot of fabric online, I know how customers should be treated!
I wish I had read the other reviews before I made my purchase.

This was my first order with this company and wow am I disappointed. I ordered what was described as "beautifully soft and cosy, woven brushed cotton Winceyette Flannel Fabric" it's not. I'm not even sure it's cotton. It's hard, crisp and no pile to it. I bought it to make pajamas and there's no way I want this close to my skin. I tried washing it hoping it would soften but it hasn't. I also bought what was supposedly 100% cotton corduroy it's definitely not 100% cotton. I did get some cotton elastane jersey and that does seem to be as described. What a waste of money. I haven't bothered contacting them as looking at these reviews it would be pointless! Don't buy from this company

I love visiting BST fabrics, it’s a real treasure trove for anyone who sews. They have an enormous amount of good quality fabrics at very reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff too.

These guys always amaze me, one of my ‘go to first’ online shops when i need various materials (i run a small sewing business) - i ordered loads of stuff late Friday afternoon and received my order the next day at 10.30am, which was just brilliant as i had run out of loads of materials i needed urgently, everything came perfectly packed, cut and folded, and at the bst prices - Thanks very much

Do not buy from this company, paid for 1-3 days delivery, didn't show up so I contacted asking where my order is to be told a load of rubbish as to why my order wasn't sent yet... Then another week passed and I contacted again to see where my order only to be told it was sent and take it up with royal mail as it has nothing to do with them!! It's everything to do with you! You have the contract with royal mail to get your customers parcel they paid you for delivered. It's your responsibility to resend or refund if it doesn't show up. Still waiting for my refund.. avoid at all costs.

Wish I read the reviews before ordering as I see you steal money and don't send their order to lots of your past customers!

Tried to order fabric from this company but even when I pay for a courier I can’t. They say they deliver to UK only but have obviously decided that Northern Ireland is not part of the UK any more. Somebody needs to correct their website

Have been buying from BST Fabrics for more than a year now! They are amazing in every aspect! Speedy delivery, great customer service and premium fabric quality at very reasonable price! I would recommend this to other small biz!

I have looked at the other reviews on BST fabrics and have to say that I have only had a positive experience when ordering online. Their prices are good, their delivery has been really good and they even rang me once when they didn’t have quite enough fabric to fulfill my order and gave an immediate refund for the fabric they couldn’t send. In my experience the fabric has been as described on the website and the haberdashery items have been very competitively priced.

Ordered from this company for the first time. Beautiful sparkly chiffon at competitive price arrived within 3 days of ordering ie ordered on Wednesday 3rd February and received today 6th February. Delighted with product and service.

After being a customer for years - and ordering a lot of fabric over this time - I WILL NOT be ordering any more.

My most recent order was 5m of plain polycotton in black and it arrived with a VERY strong smell - we actually thought we had a gas leak it was that bad.
I have washed it, dried it and repeated and I CANNOT get rid of the smell.

I have emailed your so called customer service department, who are surprisingly useless - AND RUDE.

I wasn't looking for a refund or free fabric - I would like to exchange this STINKING fabric for some that is useable - like I have always ordered.

Instead I am left with UNUSABLE fabric, having paid for it and needing it for orders.

BST FABRICS, you have disappointed me beyond belief and unfortunately, I WILL NOT be using you again.

People with hidden disabilities who are exempt from wearing face covering are not welcome at BST Fabrics Ltd. South Shields. My daughter has learning disabilities and hidden disabilities that make it difficult for her to wear face coverings. She always wears her Daffodil Lanyard complete with a card explaining her face covering exemption. She was asked to leave the shop because she was not wearing a face covering. When I pointed to her exemption I was told thats the governments policy and not the shops policy.

Received material 4 days after ordering. Good size pieces, reasonable quality and cheapest I’ve found on the internet. No complaints at all!

Bought an item 1 month ago. Not shipped yet. Trying to speak to them been calling non-stop and no answer. Emailed, no answer. Very disappointing and poor customer service

Update:
After 41 calls they answered and offered to send the fabric again with DHL. Once I receive I might change my review. But still customer service is very poor .. as no one answers the phone. Takes over 40 calls and a lot of patience.

I have used this company on numerous occasions now and their service has always been second to non. Even when I have had a small problem it has been sorted quickly and effectively. Their range of fabric is amazing and they also have many bargains in the live sales that they conduct through Facebook. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic value for money, speedy shipping and on the occasions where I've been sent the wrong fabric it was immediately replaced. Been shopping with them for over a year now and will continue to do so. A brilliant selection of items, I am never disappointed.

Extremely bad service.
10 days after item was dispatched (using first class delivery) I haven't received it.
I have tried calling - no answer and you cant leave a message, emailing - no recent response.
I called three days ago asking for a refund. The woman I spoke to told me the parcel wouldn't be marked as missing until 10 days had passed.
Now its like they don't want to give the refund.

Placed an order with them recently. A week and a half later order still not arrived. Tried ringing over 20 times! No reply. Sent email..no reply! Contacted PayPal. Issued sorted immediately. Got my money refunded. Terrible service.
