Tried to get in contact with this company several times over the phone and by email. No response and the voicemail on the phone is inaudible. I would avoid these like the plague.

The goods I paid for were never received, but I did receive terrible customer service every step of the way. When I asked, via e.mail, what has happened to my order, I was ignored right up to the point where I request a refund for the goods I never received. In response to this, they sent me a barely legible e.mail (honestly the most TERRIBLE customer service!) where they had copy-pasted a list of supposed attempts at sending me SMS messages (No idea who from, & no idea HOW they could do this, either, because I never gave them a mobile phone number for me...) From what I could decipher out of their awful customer service, they are claiming that I need to pay more money to them in tax & duties (something that is not made clear on their website at all, the fact that you will be asked to pay more money just to receive the goods that you've already paid for in full) and they claim that somebody attempted to contact me about these extra fees when NOBODY tried to contact me at all, in any way.
I may add, here, that they offer very expensive postage, too - over £35-GBP in postage for a fridge pack of baked beans & some Orajel!
Honestly, this company just takes your money and lies. I believe they are what the great British public know as 'scam artists'.
In short: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

Not seen any evidence this company is actually real. Made an order, they removed a lot of it and claimed to send me the rest even though I asked them to cancel the rest of the order as with the large shipping cost the rest was no longer cost effective. They refused even though they did not send it to the courier for 4 days later! Then later I get a message from the French tax department saying ONE item was with hem and I would have to pay €10.50 in tax for it (yes you have to pay both UK and French tax) so I rejected that and it is going back to sender. They have told me that they will not give me any refund even though they have lied and been dishonest about the taxes

I came back to update my experience with this company (and it was for positivity for Britishonlinesupermarket) for quick refund due to shortage of product. I had to report to my bank! Low and behold Trustpilot removed my post. Really!?!
Now as to my experience - This was my first time shopping with this company. I was wary but went beyond as something felt right. But after placing my order i felt lack of response (maybe they are a small company) and no information updated for date of shipmet and just voice mail with no live person on other end. What was i to do??? Trustpilot why did you remove my review??? I had come to update my refund from the company quickly. Why????

I have a small business here in Brazil, I only buy my goods through this site! I never thought I could buy quality products without leaving home, and without the agony of delays and dealing with a supplier!! This is a follow up to the review I left on 24th May.

So after being told that BOS where "looking into" my order not arriving (ordered 4th April), I have had zero updates on my order for the last 2 months meaning that the staff are either so complacent that they've forgotten or that they're just hoping that if they give me a vague reply saying that they're "looking into it* that'll forget and just go away.

Also after my last review, they've had Trustpilot make me authenticate my review by proving to them my order details, which seems like a method to attempt to get my negative review taken down. Unfortunately for BOS, i can prove that I ordered something and that I'm not just making it up.

I repeat, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, or they will just take your money, not send you your order and then do nothing about it when you try to contact them.

You say that you have contacted the courier and they have provided you with evidence that the package has been delivered.
I don't see how this is the case, as the package was 100% not delivered to my address and I did not sign for anything. Therefore i would like to see this evidence that my package was delivered.
Either the courier has delivered it to the wrong address, or they left it outside the house without alerting us (which sadly has been done before) and then the package has been stolen.

I realise that this may not be at the fault of British Online Supermarkets, but i would like to get to the bottom of what happened to this package as otherwise I have spent around ~€90 with nothing to show for it.

Of course you can refund an order! You wrote that your company and your courier made no mistakes. Really?

First of all, when I placed the order, it was stated delivery to my address in France. As a customer you understand this means a DDP delivery. As an exporter, you are deceiving and confusing your client.

Secondly, you wrote that you would check with your courier which items were prohibited and I am still waiting for your feedback about it. Your forwarder should have contacted me, they never did.

I have been buying on internet for more than two decades and it is a first time I have experienced such a deplorable service.

Nothing stops you from giving me a refund for the goods, which are in your possession, (excluding cost of transport).

This is a total disgrace verging on crookery.

Your company is just good at blaming people and ducking your responsibilities as an exporter.

To all Trustpilot readers, please be aware and stay away from their website if you don't want to lose your money.
