I wouldn’t recommend. They set you up with an energy supplier even though you withdraw from an application. I didn’t even sign the contract and they raised an account without my consent. I had to be on the phone for almost an hour to close an account I didn’t even set up which will take 6-8 weeks with OVO. The staff at Stockport are lovely but I got spoken to like I was a child when I called up asking why this happened by Katherine when in the past she’s been nice. I don’t recommend Bridgfords. 👎🏾

Been booked for viewing, saying tenant not free and postpone to next day. And then next day no show again, when I call they said tenant not free again and need to postpone to the next day again.. on the 3rd day once again they cancelled my viewing saying the property was taken.. without telling.

I do understand flat/house goes fast, the problem is they are time wasters and never notice u when situation changed! All three days i have to find out myself the viewing booking was cancelled..... I do not live in city center and need to spend time and money to travel to viewing.. and the staff who pick up the phone is really rude and unprofessional! They have so many excuses.

Luckily we didn't work with them i guess. If we did rent from them, can't imagine how disaster it will be. Be ware of!!!

Staff from their Manchester office made an unsolicited call to me asking if I would move my property to their estate agent so they could market it for me. When I declined. He preceded to pressure me. When he wasn’t going to get what he wanted, he decided to insult me and drop the phone on me. I called back requesting for an apology, but the lady I spoke to tried to cover for the rude guy. Avoid this company, they are no good.

Politely & calmly registered a complaint within the Penketh/Westbrook Warrington branch after our doorbell camera recorded a Bridgefords employee needlessly verbally insulting us whilst at the front of our property.
All members of staff informed have been dismissive & even whilst we have the evidence no formal apology has been given by the member of staff involved.
I find the lack of accountability on a basic decent human behaviour level to be rude, unprofessional & has made our experience with Bridgefords unpleasant.

The Property management company in Manchester is an absolute disgrace and very unprofessional.
I have serious issues with my apartment for the last 4 weeks and nothing has been done I’ve sent over 10 emails to the property manager and getting fobbed off by Bridgfords and the Landlord
That’s the trouble with Landlords good enough to take my money but when it comes to maintaining issue they simply ignore you.
I’ve now forwarded all my emails to a property ombudsman

A professional, knowledgeable and proactive letting agents, have used Bridgfords for many years’ and will continue to do so. Louise and Sue deserve a special mention for their attention to detail and service beyond their job requirement.

Aneeka in Sale was very helpful, welcoming, and knowledgable during our appointment yesterday. She arrived promptly, and was passionate in ensuring great customer service was provided, including assisting us with measurements.

Georgia helped with the application and viewings efficiently. She answered questions and Mason took our details promptly. No concerns.

There's a For Sale sign been up on a house we've passed a few times over the past 2 weeks but can't find it on their website or Rightmove. I rang one of the branches to be told, indignantly, I'd rang the wrong office. I pointed out that there is no local office and as this one is relatively close by, I thought I'd try them. He said he had 'no idea' but he'd look. Terrible telephone manner, told him I'd look myself. Tried another office and was told it's not being marketed yet as the owner has been choosing the photos. Fair enough but I asked why the sign was up and was told because it's for sale. Very confusing. Sort yourselves out Bridgfords. Glad you aren't selling our house!

Never again. Nothing more to say - just awful.

We used Bridgford's in Halifax to sell our property. My main concern with them was that they hardly ever answered the telephone and relied upon an answer machine. Add onto this the fact that on numerous occasions they didn't return our calls. They didn't manage to sell our property and we do wonder if prospective buyers calls weren't returned either.
Secondly feedback from them on enquiries, market data and ongoing support and advice was non existent.
Overall customer service was poor to say the least.

Well, where do I start? I don't recommend this agency at all. All the agents are useless. Customer service, professionalism is lacking at Bridgfords. We rented a property back in 2022, that we had to leave because mould and MICE both h&s hazards weren't solved and reported to the council (with someone vulnerable in the property). The flat was very dirty when we move in and now they are trying to charge us for the cleaning. They painted the flat and now they are trying to get this from our deposit. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. we have tried our best to solve these issues, but they have no decency. They always try to blame the landlord but I don't even think the landlord is aware at this point. please look for another agency and make yourself a favour.

We're yet to get a moving date, but from the day we contacted Bridgfords in Winsford through to now our experience has been positive and happy. We have our emotional reasons for moving, and the whole team (Lauren, Paul, Nicky and Mandy) have been there for us. Our sale fell through at one point, and they went into emergency mode, securing another buyer within a week. Paul, Nicky and Mandy worked on the property side of things, with support from Lauren, who was also our Mortgage Advisor. They have all been engaging, personable and very supportive through this process. They work fantastic as a close-knit team. Thanks so much! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Manj found us a new tennant very quickly and negotiated a significant increase in rent. He has been by far the most effective person we have dealt with at Bridgfords

I dealt with Ruari, who by the way gave the most incredible experience. He went above and beyond to help assist me with my needs. 10/10

Excellent service from friendly staff at bridgfords burnley. Kept informed every step of the way.Dealt with any query instantly and went out of their way to help.

Looking at the other reviews seems to be a consistent theme with Manchester branch.

I spoke with your staff member (Mrs Flynn) from the Manchester City Centre branch about Flat 11, 53 Whitworth Street, M1 3WS property (link below) and found them quite aggressive to the point where I had to disconnect the call.

I viewed the property on Friday, 25th August and had the follow-up call with another team member (Mr Stanton) from a different office who was exceptionally helpful and advised me to email/speak with the concerned member about the offer.

Following an email, I spoke with Lydia on Tuesday, 29th August. I pointed out that properties with an EPC rating of D or above would need reviewing post-2024 as per government guidelines for listed buildings. I own another property nearby in a Grade 2 building.

The staff member disagreed which is not a problem but their tone of voice was aggressive. Following this, I pointed out that the water heater in the flat was broken for a long time and we couldn't see an electrical certificate - she didn't want to pursue the conversation as apparently the 'tenant did not report it'.

I was planning to put in a counteroffer but will now be backing out as do not want to deal with the person and consequentially Bridgefords.

Hope this can help improve their future processes.
