Unsafe and dishonest experience – avoid this hotel
I stayed at The Bridge Suites Hotel in Krakow and had one of the most unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had when traveling.
We were promised a suite matching the top-floor river view shown in the listing, but the hotel gave us a lower-floor room and refused to correct it.
When we calmly questioned this, the hotel manager became aggressive and even acted physically intimidating.
Later, the hotel invented false accusations to justify charging extra fees — including claiming there was an “unauthorized guest,” even though the person in question stayed for only a few morning hours and did not spend the night.
The situation escalated to the point where we felt unsafe and had to leave early.
Hotels.com (Expedia Group) is now involved, and the case has been referred to the European Consumer Centre (ECC Norway) for formal handling.
I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this place entirely — not only because of the management’s behavior, but also because of the complete lack of accountability or professionalism when issues arise.
