Terrible experience
I ordered a part through Breakers Yard and was put in contact with Roslyn Car Parts in Essex after receiving quotes via the platform. I proceeded with the purchase after being advised the part would be delivered by Friday the 24th, which I relied on as I had a mechanic booked and my vehicle is essential for work.
Unfortunately, the part did not arrive by the promised date. When I followed up, I was told delivery would take 3–4 working days as it was being sent second class post, which was not what I was initially told on the phone.
A full week has now passed and I still have not received the part or any tracking information. I have repeatedly chased this via email and phone, speaking with multiple representatives during this process, but have not been provided with clear updates or a tracking number.
I was later told the item may have been lost in transit and that it would be re-sent, with tracking to follow, but I have still received nothing despite further requests for confirmation.
This has caused significant disruption as my work vehicle has been off the road and I have had to delay repairs while waiting for the part that never arrived.
I chose Breakers Yard based on their strong reviews, but my personal experience has unfortunately not reflected this. I would urge caution and recommend ensuring clear delivery confirmation and tracking before proceeding with orders through suppliers on the platform.

Breaker Yard were able to get me in touch with suppliers of a component my local garage weren’t able to source.
Breaker Yard were able to get me at three quotes for an expensive item on my car. Will use them again.

Excellent service, they found the part fairly quickly and although it took a week to arrive in the post, it was over the easter holiday. The part was the exact match and the boot lock now works perfectly again.
