Need new serpentine belt. Mechanics broke tension and blamed on previous mechanic. Previous mechanic installed brand new tension. Shop broke and charged me to install after I got new one. Put a 6 ribbed belt on my 7 rib system 03 Camry. Now i have clunking noise caused by the tension Brake Master installed and the wrong belt on my car. Mechanic said I HAVE to use that belt even though my previous belt was correct fit. I would not recommend this shop. 6580 S. Fort Apache Rd

I had a coupon for an oil change for high mile cars. $39.95. This includes 5 quarts of oil ,lube,Tire rotation and fluids under hood. When I presented the coupon it doesn't apply to my 2015 140000 mile Ford Taurus it will be 10.00 more. I say fine just do it. My bill was 75.00. Nothing else had been done. He said they used Synthet
ic oil. Never told me and claims its the only oil you can use! That's a lie! He gave me a price. He should told me. So my coupon turned out to be the most expensive oil I ever had for that vehicle. Very disappointed!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

These people are not good at anything - other than messing up your brakes. I initially brought my vehicle in to the Queen Creek location to find out what I needed. They said pads and rotors. I had purchased the new pads and rotors myself and paid this shop for the labor to install them a few days later. Shortly after the service—within about a week—I began hearing a persistent squeaking noise coming from one side of the vehicle. I contacted the shop and was told that this can be normal with new brakes. While I understand that new brakes may squeak initially, it is not normal for the issue to occur on only one tire. I was advised to bring the car back in if the noise continued.

I returned the vehicle the following day. After approx one hour of inspection, I was told that a metal component was rubbing against the brakes and that the issue had been fixed. Which in my mind that meant - you did not do the job right from jump. However, the problem did not resolve.

A few weeks later, after continuing brake issues and taking additional time off work, I had the vehicle inspected by another repair shop. They disassembled the brakes and informed me that the brake components had been installed incorrectly. They showed me that while the other brake pads were measuring at approximately an “8,” the affected pad was already worn down to a “4,” which clearly indicates improper installation or an unresolved underlying issue. They provided me with written documentation outlining their findings.

I brought this documentation back to brake masters to address the matter. Unfortunately, during this visit, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and I was told that the issue was not their responsibility. Only after insisting that the brakes be checked again did the staff take another look and then informed me—within a matter of minutes—that the caliper was seized.

This raises serious concerns. When I first brought my car in for inspection, this shop had it for over an hour and did not identify a seized caliper. When they initially installed the new pads and rotors, you had the vehicle for over two hours and again did not identify this issue. I also brought my car in for a squeaking noise…this issue was still not identified. Yet it was suddenly discovered in minutes during my most recent visit.

If the caliper was seized, this should have been identified before installing new pads and rotors. Had I been informed of this issue upfront, I would not have authorized the installation of the new parts. This suggests that the brakes were not properly inspected prior to installation, which is both negligent and unsafe.

Because of this failure, not only were the brakes installed incorrectly, but my safety was put at risk. Brakes are a critical safety component, and improper installation or failure to diagnose known issues could have resulted in serious harm.

Which makes me wonder how many more of our vehicles get overlooked because they don’t care and negligence. I would avoid this company at all costs and take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I've been a customer of his for about three years and each and every time he does not disappoint in giving me a full explanation and a recommendation for the service to be performed. When my 2003 Jaguar 4.2L S-Type needs some service I know I can count on Dave and his staff to provide me with an honest estimate and professional results. Honesty is a concern of people needing an auto repair...but not for me. I assumed that I needed an alternator but after completing his assessment of my 'not starting issue' Dave assured me it was just the battery. He is a scrupulous auto pro and has a great way about him...a friendly, caring and once again and above all, an honest person. Thank you Brake Masters for having this man on the team!!

Just received my suzuki gsxr 1000 2010 calipers back from a full refurb, absolutely amazing quality, better than factory finish by a mile.
I'm going to put them on a shelf just to look at for a while.

I have many decades of personal automotive business experience, at many levels and various angles. This specific location at 1901 N Scottsdale Rd: Scottsdale, AZ 85257 has been my garage for well over two decades. They have the best analysts and really know what parts to use. A simple example was a repair if after market parts were used would have lasted a year but the O.E.M. would last at least six years meaning original actually cost far less per year. With total integrity and value pricing I have been completely satisfied with all domestic and foreign vehicles taken to them.
On a numerous of occasions I was told what repairs were for safety, which could easily wait and when not to repair. A minor oil leak might only stain the parking surface and only done if for cosmetic reasons. When a car was better traded than repaired they always told me. Wanted business but if their vehicle they would not fix. I have appreciated basic analysis where it was done without charge. Prior to buying cars, new or used, am told what I could expect. They truly offer real service.
