I liked the prompt way that my 3 appointments were held precisly on time and with a nice professional greeting by both the store staff and the practitioner.

The inspection and analysis of my hearing need was a nice and professionally explained procedure. However I had to trust the solution that it would actually work and improve my hearing loss. Still not absolutely sure!

My biggest disappointment was the pricing and the invoice given to me which was utterly confusing and difficult to understand.

I was given to understand that I would receive a 15% reduction from Boots printed price list. It turned out that this was only applicable if I would purchase an additional gadget (a TV plug-in) which was overpriced and meant that my actual hearing aid (which I was there for) was not 15% off. Very clever marketing but really not appropriate for such a medical item. The consultant spent many difficult minutes bravely trying to explain my invoice and justify the "discount". So sad.

An excellent audiologist who was very helpful and friendly, and did good tests which highlighted the weaknesses with my hearing. As a result he was very helpful and supportive in recommending the most appropriate hearing aids which I tested and appeared to solve my problems. They were also not visible which was a bonus, and I didn’t hesitate to purchase two.

Veryvery patient. Explained every thing clearly

Everything concerning the hearing test and the aids available was explained very well. There was instruction on fitting and cleaning the aids and a follow up visit planned. The appointments were not rushed.

Test was comprehensive. Results were explained well. All questions were answered.

Of all the hearing tests I’ve had over the years this was the most thorough and detailed hearing test I’ve experienced. The reason for every stage was clearly explained as well as the results and recommendations.

Excellent and compassionate customer service, explained everything well and ‘worked with’ an ‘elderly’ person - made them feel comfortable and part of the process which was quite daunting for them - thank you Boots for great work.

Good explanation Amar gave us. He demonstrated & helped me how to wear & let me do it if I can do myself easily. Service was brilliant.

Anyway I need to wear for certain periods to get used to wear it.

Nabeela Begum was lovely and explained everything that she was doing in an easy and understandable way. She was very professional. She undertook a hearing test, explained results and then explained my options and different hearing aids. I tested these new options and then ordered new ones. I have got a follow up appointment and my hearing aids arrived quickly.

My visit to Boots was excellent due to the advice and help provided by Nabeela Bergum the Audiologist. It is so important to have the confidence that the person helping you with difficult hearing problems can understand and provide valuable advice.
