When my order arrived, there was a note saying 2 of the items were out of stock, so they just sent 2 random things I didn't want instead.

It took months to organise a partial refund and even that hasn't been fully paid yet. I wouldn't risk ordering from here again.

Bought from here twice now during the pandemic and neither experience was great but I would buy from them again just something I wouldn’t mind a replacement of if it’s not in stock.
The first time I ordered some edible live plants and arid plants and got a call after a few days-a week saying one of the plants wasn’t in stock and if I was ok with a substitute or wanted to wait. The woman was lovely and I was happy with any substitute so they got shipped. On arrival the edible plants were completely squished (they are quite flimsy plants) and one of the arid was on its side (too tall for the box) and had come out of the pot with soil everywhere. The packages were probably handled roughly by Royal Mail but it could have done with being packaged better.
Second time I needed a new Arcadia flood lamp and it seemed to be out of stock everywhere but here with rumors of it being discontinued on the internet so I ordered 3. It took a week to get dispatched and when it arrived they had replaced it with a prorep equivalent. It’s a shame I wasn’t contacted this time as I would have happily waited for more stock to come in since I can’t find any online comparisons between the two bulbs and the prorep one has a scattered cloud effect which I’m not a fan of but they’ll work as spares or a friend will have them

I am giving a 2* as I did recieve some items but most are incorrect or haven't turned up after a long time.

My Lizard is still waiting for his stuff, I am rather upset and I should've done some looking into where I had bought from first.

I have tried to contact the company to no avail.

I advise people to look up companies first and if you have bought from here and are experiencing the same issues please do a Paypal/Bank dispute if you are in the same boat.

Company accepted payment for items not in stock. I didn't find out until I emailed asking where my order was 2 weeks later. Very poor email communication. I asked to cancel the order for a refund after they confirmed it was still not dispatched (3 weeks after order) which they agreed to, but then shipped half the order regardless, and the other half turned up 4 days later. Still waiting on an email response explaining why and to let me return these items i dont want. I will never order from here again. update 1 week later: still no response about wanting to return the items. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Shocking. Ordered on 24th Jan, contacted 3rd of Feb for delivery update. Told item had been out of stock and did I want a refund or to change the order. I asked for a refund. Company now not replying to my multiple emails (10th Feb) after being quick enough to take the money. Item is still advertised as in stock on the site!

Good selection of products but slow dispatch times & poor customer service lets them down!

I guess I got scammed? Transaction cleared on my account the next day and the items still haven't been dispatched.

When I tried to contact them, got an auto reply stating:
"Your message to bluelizardreptiles was automatically rejected:
Quota exceeded (mailbox for user is full)"

Avoid this company. Unacceptably slow despatch times. Ordered some mite spray for a snake I recently purchased. Took them 10 days, 2 emails which they never responded to and a phone call before they even dispatched the item. 5 days later and still not delivered. Another phone call and everything blamed on covid and the royal mail, yet I've recieved several items from China which were ordered 2days after I placed my order with Blue Lizard. And all the items were delivered days earlier than expected. Shocking customer service. Would love to hear their responce but dont think theyve got the backbone to defend themselves nor a leg to stand on.

Just don’t bother! Find another site to order from, I ordered several plants and a weed growing kit for my tortoise in October and I still haven’t received my items, I have sent emails but have had no reply’s! Quick enough to take the money though! I understand that due to COVID-19 that delivery is more difficult or if they didn’t have the items in stock they could have replied to my emails saying so but nothing from them! Stay clear of them.

Absolutely terrible service, no communication and orders take an excruciating amount of time to arrive. Shop elsewhere ...

worse reptile company out there for delivery.. i regularly use Swell and Northampton, never had a problem, they always delivered on time, and if there is a problem they contact you, not blue lizard,. because they didnt have stock of a plant, they held back the entire order, some of which was urgent, the website didnt show they didnt have no stock. They didn;'t even bother contacting me to advise, as i would have cancelled the plants and had the rest delivered. there excuse was on couriers and coronavirus, i accepted that it might not be next day, and there would be a few days delay, but waiting two weeks!!! when i asked for the tracking number, they said it would only update after it had been delivered!!! some use that is, , it's just the pure lack of communication, and using cheap delivery services.

Would never use again, use someone else, like swell or Northamton..

Ordered aquarium ornaments x2 and they didn't get posted so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund the refund took 3 weeks and only after phone calls and emails ,I had say I would report them to trading standards before I got my refund . I found much better ones locally and cheaper.
