Overpriced and so unfriendly
£31 from the Airport to gateshead. My friend paid £22 in a uber to heaton. I'll never ever use blueline again, so expensive 🤬
Awful booking experience
Called and the automated assistant had no idea what I was saying or where I was, and what kind of stupid question is 'do you want a taxi' and 'do you want picking up as soon as possible'? How many people call to not book a taxi?!
Very poor service when using for…
Very poor service when using for patient transport, no one speaks english, they wont get out the car if its raining, seat belts that dont work, the pull up and just beep their horn but the worst is you sit for over an hour and a half waiting to go home at hospital

Taxi was filthy and smells disgusting, for the price customers pay for fares you would think there would be some level of hygiene in the cab,felt physically sick.

If you want to get anywhere do not use this company. They picked us up on time to go to our venue but did not turn up for our return. I tried to contact them but all I got was "we do not have a designated driver " we ended up walking over a mile in freezing conditions. Absolutely useless.

1 Star – Shockingly Dangerous Driver
We had one of the worst taxi journeys I’ve ever experienced. Collected around 17:20, heading to Newcastle, and the driver’s behaviour was very alarming.
First, he had a near miss with two elderly pedestrians he clearly didn’t see. Then, when picking up our friends, he almost reversed straight into them. On Whaggs Lane, he repeatedly drifted onto the right-hand side of the road, at one point effectively driving on the wrong side entirely. I had to warn him to concentrate. His braking was late, harsh, and hazardous throughout.
This driver should not be allowed to carry passengers, and I’m genuinely shocked he’s passed any sort of driving test. I’ve cancelled our future booking and requested a refund.
Extremely disappointed and very concerned for the safety of other passengers. I hope Blueline take this seriously before someone gets hurt.
DOUBLE PAYMENT
I ordered a taxi and my payment was pre-authorized
on my card on arriving at my destination the driver insisted I pay cash although I had no cash on me he made me go to a cash point machine when I checked my bank account the following day the payment had also been taken from my Bank account I have emailed the company twice and spoken to somebody in the office twice to which I was told somebody would get back to me and arrange for the money to be refunded this is now 2 weeks later and I have no response
Talking to one of their drivers I was told they would do nothing and that they will never refund me
Really disgraceful service
Really disgraceful service. Booked a taxi, they said 10-12 minutes. Driver rang me 5 minutes later and says he is outside. I said oh, early. I'll be right downstairs. Walked down 2 flights of stairs, put my coat on and driver had gone. I rang the office they said he was outside and argued with me a few more times then admitted the driver went off shift. He said he would send another car in 5 minutes. Stood outside in the pouring rain for 25 minutes. Rang them back and told them not to bother. They have lost a loyal customer, used them for years. Never again.
Double-charged by driver, no support from Blueline
Driver took cash payment and then charged by card again for same journey, resulting in total charge of £37 for a £17 fare. Blueline "Customer Care" refused to assist, advising that they "had to stay impartial".
Prices are horrendous
Driver arrived at different entrance to pick up point even though my whereabouts were shared to the office but I incurred a 60p charge for him waiting at MOST 60 secs . When I got in the taxi we travelled for no more than 60 seconds and the meter was already at £6.60 I questioned this and he didnt even give a reason so I refused to go any further and rang office who were none helpful ......... never ever again will I use this taxi service

I preordered a taxi for 6 passenger on the 22nd Nov for 6pm
with a return journey at 9pm a four seater taxi came…..I explained to the taxi driver that we needed a seven seater bus for 6 people…he phoned through to the office and we were told they would send a second taxi but that we would have to pay for two, we declined that offer stating that it was their error so why should we pay twice…..we ended up splitting the group and I had to drive my own car to the restaurant or we would missed out reservation at 6.30 they apologised but quite honestly it wasnt enough…..when we checked to bill for both taxis there was a £2 different in price for the same journey…this is not the first or second time we have a a really bad service from Blueline..I will never recommend or use this firm again
The driver of blue Kia 6584
The driver of blue Kia a large, portly man, should never have been allowed to work with people. His behavior was rude, his lack of manners, and his insults were directed at pedestrians legally using the sidewalk, while he, the lord and master, wanted to drive there and park wherever he pleased. When I pointed out that he shouldn't have done that, he shouted "very bad words" back at me several times. After this, I was so upset that I decided to stand in front of his vehicle and call the police myself. While we were waiting for the police, the driver honked his horn like crazy. When the police car arrived, the taxi driver was instructed by the officers not to ride on the sidewalk, something no one had probably told him beforehand, and he probably didn't realize it was illegal. Do driving courses in England teach how to ride safely on a pedestrian pavement, avoiding childrens, adults and elderly people in wheelchairs?
Let down by Blue Line
Booked a taxi for collection from wedding at Causey Inn, Stanley two weeks in advance. Despite ringing over 5 times chasing where the taxi was and being told numerous times it was just about to pull in to the venue we had to wait in the pouring rain for just under an hour for it to turn up. Driver dangerously sped through one lane country roads despite being asked to slow down and to top it off 30% more than we were told the cost would be has been taken from my card.
Have used Blue line for years but will never use again!
Avoid at all costs
Paid for 3 journeys using the app and paid upfront. Blue Line set the parameters of what the fare was going to be. There was no deviation on any of the journeys. Then, on two of the three trips it declined the payment (The fare had already been taken from my account).
The funds had been pre authorised, and I had to pay the full fare for BOTH JOURNEYS TWICE!
Blue Line used to be flagship north east taxi company. I’ve already complained about a foreign taxi driver a while back who had severe damage to his car, but was still driving customers around. I confronted him and he replied “It’s in the garage Tuesday”. Reported it to Blue Line and they couldn’t have cared any less. I have video evidence of this;
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THIS IS A GREEDY, UNHELPFUL AND ON OCCASION DANGEROUS COMPANY. YOU HAVE A DUTY OF CARE TO PASSENGERS!!!!!!!
I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities and the press.
