Very Disappointing
My husband and I have just eaten the Chicken Alexander.
At £11 it was the most expensive ready meal we have ever had. I was appalled how little chicken there was and how hard and chewy it was. The sauce was very tasty but there wasn't much else. We have enjoyed other Charlie Bigham meals before but the standard and portion sizes have deteriorated. Very disappointed.

Nowhere big enough for 2 people ☹️
I likke most of his meals but didnt like the meatball one, I always buy the meals for 2 people and every single one of them are no way big enough for 2 people Does he think that is enough for 2 adults, I always have to cook and prepare more potatoes or buy something to go with each meal So annoying when he charges such a high price for them and greedy as he must make millions and millions out of his customers ☹️ So many reviews say the same about portion size Why does he not take note and do something about it Greedy man ☹️

Lovely tasty food, but Charlie, I don't understand why you insist on oven cooking.
In red thai curry, for instance, the chicken is pre-cooked; if you cut a piece in half before cooking the dish it is obviously cooked. In any case raw food can be safely cooked in a microwave, that is the whole point of a microwave oven - it COOKS food. If your sauce ingredients are raw they too can be 'cooked ' in a microwave.
Please, just give people instructions for alternate methods of cooking.
Thank you for your delicious food, but why is such drama necessary?

We extensively test all of our dishes and recommend oven cooking to achieve the very best results. While a few of our Dishes for One are also suitable for air fryer cooking, we don't currently recommend microwave cooking as we can't guarantee the same quality or consistency.

Best Paella I have had for years

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed eating your Paella. It was glorious ! The slices of chorizo were generous, the king prawns were numerous and the chicken was tender and tasty. I loved every mouthful .

Had a veg lasagna there was no pasta to taste it was so over cooked that there was no taste to it. I I cooked for the recommended time but it turned into baby food no texture at all. Would not recommend this product.

The lasagna goid but very pricey.
The lasagna was quite nice, but at £10 I could have made lots and better. The green packaging (other than carboard sleeve) cant be recycled because its contaminated with food... better to have used aluminium. Personally I'd stick with "best/finest" products at half the price.

Regarding our trays, while they aren't currently recyclable, they are compostable and designed to break down in under 12 months in the right conditions. We're also actively exploring ways to make disposal easier in the future through UK composting and food waste schemes.

Best ready meal think I've had
Had the chicken Tikka and it happens to be the best ready meal curry I think I've had. Had a good depth of flavours creamy and nicely spiced. a touch more of the curry sauce would've been great but its still getting 5 stars because it was so tasty.
Can't wait to try a different one.

Red & green thai curries
Red & green thai curries, very tasty & satisfying, occasionally the chicken a bit chewey. It says it is a meal for 2. As quite a slim 66kg guy I can easily eat the meal alone. Today I saw a promotion on the red thai curry but was puzzled why there was a big pile of unbought boxes & when I looked closer I could see why, the chicken container has reduced in size. I thought, have I imagined this & I looked at a few others. The two containers are no longer tight fitting in the cardboard wrapper. The second product in a week I have seen reduce in size & the price remains the same. I hate when food manufacturers do that. I would rather they be honest & keep the same product, the same size & pt up the price if they have to. I'll make my own in future. I end with a positive, I believe the business makes a good product, it's the tactics of suttlely increasing price in these hard economic times I don't like

Beautiful meal
Don't normally have ready meals but my husband loves cooking and he's currently away. I had the Thai curry and it was absolutely beautiful. Couldn't fault it.

Oh my goodness if you've not yet tried Charlie Bighams Chicken Tikka Biryani give yourself a proper treat and put it on your list.
Not too spicy but full of authentic flavours. A very nice filling meal. I bought one today for my evening meal. I will definitely be buying it again. I'll also try the tikka masala.

Awful. Far Too Sweet
Just tried Firecracker Chicken and Jasmine rice. We put it in the recycling bin. The Firecracker Chicken was lovely and hot, but that where the good points end. The sauce was REALLY sweet, so sweet I couldnt eat it. But even if I had liked it, there was only enough Firecracker Chicken for one. I would never buy this one again.

I don’t really buy ready meals
I don’t really buy ready meals, but I was in a rush, so I thought I’d try the Lasagna for one, it was fantastic,
tasted as good as home made. I will not hesitate to try another recipe. 5 stars.

Not one of your best but they cant all be winners!!! Taste rather non-descript and topping looked overcooked after 30 mins cooking time. Far too much pasta for amount of sauce.
However, we are generally complimentary about your meals....

Just had the spicy Korean chicken for two.
It tasted fabulous, but... Rice was plenty, but the actual Korean chicken was incredibly measley.. barely enough to feed one person
