Better - Gosling Sports Park Bewertungen 

We had a birthday party for 15 ten-year-olds past Saturday and it was a tad stressful I have to say.
First of all, when booking I didn't have a choice of a smaller party, I had to pay for 15 bouncers minimum which came to nearly £300 which I found expensive.
An empty room was provided to us (party room number 2) which is behind the locked doors. Every time we needed to come out to get something from outside /car, cafe/, we had to knock furiously for the staff to notice us to come and open the door from outside. It took a few minutes on some occasions. I believe the temp code could have been provided to the party host at least so going in and out would have been easier.
Nothing apart from jug of water was provided to us so you had to come well prepared.
After bouncing, we had 45 min in the party room, however we had enough chairs for the kids only and the parents had to stand in the corridor for 45 min while the kids were eating.

The staff came to check in on us a few times however at the end, they suggested that we should clear the room before our 45 min was up. It might have been difficult to do that as I needed to go out with some party guests to make sure they are picked up by the parents and wait with them outside. If I had not had help with me, it could have been a struggle to manage time wise.
I found the whole experience too expensive and not the right value for money. I don't think I would do it again.

Easy and clear joining process, well equipped gym with new products and excellent sauna/steam area

The badminton courts are excellent, friendly staff and great clubs who play regularly every week especially marks friday badminton club from 6-8pm. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Gemini parking solutions instructed by gosling sports park to manage their parking for customers, I tried to pay via the app which was useless after struggling for 10 minutes i give up and decided to pay via the cash machine on site, the one nearest to me was out of order and the one further away was very stressful to use, after numerous attempts to add my vehicle registration number the machine issued a ticket without my registration number, as this was my first time paying for the parking I thought this was the norm and kept the ticket as proof of payment. A few weeks later I received a parking charge notice from Gemini parking solutions which I applied against with my proof of payment but never heard back from them. There online system is very poor and you can’t even get through to them on a phone call.
I have just received a debt recovery plus letter demanding me to pay £170 wow what a scam.

I phoned the debt company and told them my side of the story but they’re siding with gemini parking solutions stating that it was my fault I should have entered the registration number when clearly it was there fault as machne wasn't allowing me to enter the vehicle details and printed a ticket and accepting my money. i think theres alot of people who will be going through the same situation as mine and if gosling sports park welvyn doesn’t sort this out they will make a big loss of good customers.
What a rip off terrible marking solutions should be ashamed of themselves.
As gosling sports park welvyn have gemini parking solutions managing their car parking for gym and all sports activity customers I feel they should be responsible enough to sort these ongoing issues out with their chosen parking company as it directly impacts there reputation and the victims are innocent individuals who have turned up for some exercise or stress relief at the gym and ended up with further stress and being ripped off by this horrible company. Gosling sports park need to sort this out urgently, not good enough replying with disappointed by the feed back from Hazel you need to be disappointed and take action against the unfair, unjust behaviour of your parking management company.
I want immediate action on behalf of all of the innocent victims of gosling gym car park asap awaiting positive reply.

Had daughter's 4th bday at trampoline park. Highly recommend hosting a party here for young children, and the 2x hosts assigned to my daughter's parties were so helpful! Xx

We recently booked a trampoline party for our 6 year old son for 10 children. I was a little disappointed that we had to pay for 2 adults just to supervise the children - as we didn’t bounce ourselves. We were given room number 1 which felt like miles away and had no involvement from any staff until 10 minutes before the end. The children all enjoyed bouncing and the room was cool with plenty of tables and chairs. Very basic party offering but it did the job!

We had a soft play party for our daughter's 5th birthday. The area was neat and clean when we arrived, with tables and chairs set up. The kids loved the two separate areas (older vs younger) and the ball pits.

We booked for exclusive use which we were told meant there was technically room for 80 people (children and adults). We had 28 children and there weren't enough chairs for them to all sit and eat, although there were high chairs available for really little ones, we just didn't have any babies/toddlers in our group. So a few more chairs would be helpful.

It took a while to get let in while a member of staff found the key/keycode which was a little frustrating as we were allowed access from 2.45pm. It was a warm day but it was incredibly hot in the soft play area - I don't know if there is air con, but it was quite uncomfortable for those just sitting and watching the kids so I probably wouldn't visit in summer. (I expected the kids to get hot!)

I had to ask for water and for it to be refilled, I would have liked it if someone could have checked in on us for that, especially as it was a warm day and the team were only able to provide 2 jugs. For 28 kids + supervising adults it wasn't enough - someone managed to get another jug from the cafe (very handy to have the cafe so close for parents and also overwhelmed kids) but this was still a bit low. So I'd recommend investing in a few more jugs for parties.

We were left to our own devices which is mostly good, but the person who let us in said we had to be out at 5pm sharp and that she'd bring bin bags - no bin bags were brought (it was fine, we had brought our own) but it would have been good to have a member of the team just check in on us at the end.

Overall a good experience but a few niggles to be ironed out. Exclusive use at Gosling is well over £100 more than another nearby leisure centre offering softplay parties, so although we had a good experience, I think there's room for a few improvements.

Staff were really helpful and attentive . On arrival the young girl assisting went above and beyond to help us. Thank you very much for providing my 9 year old grandson with a really great party .

We had our daughter celebrating her 3rd birthday at the trampoline park. It was great success and the staff were incredibly helpful in the run up and on the day.

Only suggestion is if you guys can set up a waiver form online so people i.e. the host can send a link to participants before the day. Also would be less of a GDPR issue. It would also help with working out which adults are jumping on the day. I took a educated guess and ended up paying a little extra. It is not an huge deal but it is my only suggestion. Otherwise it was a very good party. Thank you.

We had a 7 year old's birthday trampolining party here and it all went so smoothly; Great prior communications & seamless support on the day. The kids had a fantastic time. The in house catering wasn't available when we booked but this may have changed now & would make hosting even easier.

My kids loved learning to ski at Gosling. It set them up amazingly for their first ski holiday so much so that they were keen to continue when we got back. Great bunch running things, very helpful, very relaxed. Wonderful, local facility.

At The Gosling Centre the lady at Reception called Ceri was absolutely first class with helping me and completely understood my concern with my disability health issues. Ceri was so understanding, helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and really helped me take my time to decide about signing up for a membership. Thank you to Ceri for all her help with my visit, from providing me with the information about membership cost, parking, the Spa, the classes which I maybe able to do, to downloading the app on my telephone. An absolute Gem! Thank you so much Ceri.

Last summer holidays 2023 a friend of mine had called to ask if I wanted to bring my 12yr old grandson, Hudson to Skiing with my friend & her daughter. I’d previously taken Hudson to a variety of different sports clubs, tennis & so on to help him mix more and to aid towards confidence as has been bullied most of his school life so far but he just didn’t have any heart in it. Dry slope Skiing has changed the whole dynamics of Hudson as for that hour he feels free of negative thoughts to the point that now, all negative thoughts have almost gone from his mind as he now has a focus & something to look forward to at the end of every week. Dry slope skiing has given him a light at the end of his tunnel with the support of the most fabulous team of Gosling Ski Instructors. They are so welcoming, patient, understanding without any judgement. I really believe, without the Gosling Skiing team of Instructors & with all of their support Hudson would not be so confident as what he is now. He learns new skiing techniques every week with a variety of instructors each time and for the first time in years I now see him really smile from ear to ear when I pick him up from his home once a week to take him. It’s just amazing to see this very sad boy realise that there is hope and that he is worthy, relevant and deserves fun, love and all good things. His Mum (my daughter) is very poorly and he is a young carer so the dry slope skiing and the Gosling Skiing team have made things possible for Hudson to see a future for himself and that is not to necessarily be a skiing champ but to just see that he can still be that beautiful human being looking out for his Mum and to also have some time for himself to get to know himself more to just know that he is important too. Thank you to the Gosling Dry Slope Skiing team for everything you do for Hudson and the funny thing is, I don’t think any of you realise what you have all done for Hudson as none of you know his story until you all end up reading this. You’ve changed his outlook and his life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Nic X

Excellent customer service and communication was exceptional. Initially wasn't sure l was going to get what l needed (room booking). When I asked at the reception I was advised to email. As soon as l emailed my request, Zoe was so quick to respond. She gave me all the necessary details and arranged for me to view the room. Also Ceri at reception was very kind.
Had also booked the 8 aside football pitch online. All was straight forward and my son enjoyed his birthday with his school friends.

My daughter had a party at the trampoline park and absolutely loved it and so did all her friends. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The jumping session and the party room was good. However, it was over-priced for what it was. Then, to pay for food on top of the booking cost a lot.

Had my daughters soft play party here and booked exclusive use. Zoe was really helpful explaining everything and dealing with any extra requests too.
