Better - Forest Hill Pools Bewertungen 

There was some confusion about the nature of my senior membership of the gym. As they could not easily resolve it, the person (Shirley) who dealt with the issue arranged to have my membership extended for a year with the same swim/gym usage as before. I would also like to commend the staff at Forest Hill Pools who have always proved to be friendly, helpful and caring.

I have serious worries about the hygene practice and policy implimentation at this pool. There are clear sinage which tells people to remove outside shoes befre entering the changing area and access to the pools. Through observation over a long period ( weekly for more than a year) I have observed the vast majority of adults ignore this and walk what ever their shoes have picked up on the street straight into the wet area. Logically this dirt will disolve on the wet floor and swimmers with bare feet are walking through this mixture. I have challenged staff about this on various occasions and the best responce I have recieved so far is" We have signs up" or more frequently shrugged shoulders. I'm glad some have found the staff helpful and polite. This has not been my experience, and in conjunction with a pretty useless and tempramental entry system I wish someone would get a grip of these issues which are after all what give first impressions.

It's just my first step back to exercising. Was shocked to discover I have no strength to swim one length.

Easy to use but staff helpful if you have a question

The instructor is excellent! Taught me how to breath in and out of water and I feel more confident in the water. I never realised you kick either your thighs and not your feet! She is excellent!

The online booking system was extremely frustrating to use - it didn't accept my details after multiple attempts so I had to book in person in the end. Also the teaching style of this class wasn't for me and my baby didn't seem to enjoy it. I prefer teachers who are more gentle in their approach to babies and new parents. So all in all I found the whole experience just too stressful and not worth it. On a positive note however, the staff on reception were friendly and helpful and the cafe has a little children's book area.

Made a complaint two weeks ago, nothing back yet. place seems very fractured and their policies need to be reviewed.
