Disappointed

I ordered custom name badges and specifically asked on October 13, 2025 if the writing would be hard to read in person because the preview looked very faint. Jacob Goodman told me that it only appeared that way on the computer screen and that the printed badges would be clear.

That was not the case. When the badges arrived, the names were extremely light and very difficult to read. I contacted the company, but the only solution offered was for me to pay again for replacements with darker text.

I am disappointed because I asked this exact question before approving the order, and the reassurance I was given was not accurate.

Terrible service

Terrible service. From the moment I requested a quote, I informed them that I needed my order by August 22nd, as I had an event on August 23rd. The person who assisted me and designed my order guaranteed that I would receive it on time. Two days before my event, and having not yet received my order, I contacted them, and the response was that due to bad weather and a shortage of materials, they were experiencing a delay, but the good news was that my order was ready and would be shipped the next day. It was all a lie. I never received it. On August 23rd, the day of my event, I tried contacting Brad, who responded hours later. His last response was that if I needed my order that day, I should pick it up at their office in Pembroke Pines. My event hadn't started yet, and he could have sent my order in a way other than USPS. I told him that if it didn't arrive on time, I would request a refund. He didn't respond until Monday, when he apologized and said that I would have my order in my hands. I didn't receive it until Tuesday, August 27th, which was 5 days after the requested date. A mockery. He also sent the order with a cynical note asking me to rate the service and saying, 'Help me (mistakes happen).' A total scam. After that, they sent me an email saying, 'Enjoy your order.' What a lack of respect, what terrible service. I have never felt so mocked and scammed. Now, to process the refund, they want to ensure I return the order first, and once they receive it, they will issue the refund. In other words, I have to trust them once again. Negative! A scam! Please, do not buy or place orders with these people. And lastly, despite my repeated complaints and claims, I have not received a single call to clarify or offer an apology.

I feel manipulated

I feel manipulated, misled, and duped. Nowhere on the website does it even mention a one-time set-up fee. In fact, the language on the website leads one to believe there is no charge while not explicitly saying that. My customer service representative said in his email to me to 'call anytime.' Upon calling, I was told he does not take phone calls. Misled again! When I asked where on the website I could have found notification of the set-up fee, the answer was, 'it is not there.' I will not be ordering from them again even though they assure me it is a one-time set-up fee. I prefer to do business with companies that have integrity. In my opinion, this one does not...and fortunately, there are other options out there.

Unless you have plenty of time to wait don't go anywhere near this company. I will be looking for a different company moving forward. Once you receive the items they are fine but we have had to wait 6 weeks for the name badges and I am still waiting for the desk plates and holders which I ordered at the beginning of September, 2022. I'm guessing their turnover of staff is a problem making their customer service and follow up practically non existent. I guess we are just a small fish in a large pond and I doubt they will mourn our loss!!!

I have been a Best Name Badge customer…

I have been a Best Name Badge customer for 7 years. As you can see, back in 2017, all the reviews were positive. The customer service then was great! Now, HORRIBLE customer service. I have sent emails that have gone unanswered, I have asked for TWO of the following name badges and they send one, (which is DUH, company, you are losing money), and the last straw was this recent encounter. I ordered and paid for TWO name badges for TWO staff and they billed me for ONE name badge for TWO staff, I just figured they can not get it right, I paid on April 29th and the website and email indicates it will take up to15 days for production, which is a ridiculous time span. I emailed on May 16th and got a less than reasonable response that they are working on them...........I called on May 23rd and the associate who answered the phone was extremely unprofessional and loudly told me they were short staffed and my order would be there when it got there! Unbelievable. If we took care of customers with that level of disrespect, we would not have any customers. I told my business office manager that we should never order from them again and move to a different company.

All the comments on being slow are 100%…

All the comments on being slow are 100% real. Week Five on my wait for name tags. Still in shipping. Been there for a week now. If you have the time of months to wait, go ahead and order. Hopefully your package arrives, if it ever does.

I have actually been using this company…

I have actually been using this company for the past 9-10 years and I have finally thrown in the towel. This place is ridiculous, awful, and they have no clue what is going on. For the past two weeks I have been trying to order new name badges with our new logo. I sent them the vector, font and the names. I would only get one reply to my emails once every 1-2 days and each time I had to explain to them what I wanted. In the span of two weeks I have talked to 3 different people. Each time they send me a proof that is wrong and it takes them several days to respond. Then all of a sudden out of the blue a new person emails me and I have to start all over.

This isn't just a one time thing with them. It's a typical workings with them.
I will never use them again!

Adequate Products, Unacceptable Service

I have ordered ID badges on multiple occasions from BNB. While they produce an adequate product, service is extraordinarily slow, lie when asked for status updates and are rude when contacted about orders. Searching for better source, hopefully in the Southwest.

Badges NEVER went into production

I ordered a number of badges for our upcoming shows. Everything up to paying the invoice was fine. Then a week later I used the chat to ask for a status. Jamie simply said that it was not in production yet. I asked why and she disconnected the chat. I called and asked for a status. I was told that if I paid extra then they would put the badges into production and ship them. When I refused, I was told that there was not ETA on when they would go into production.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

NOTE: All the "positive" reviews were posted on the same date or within a couple days of each other. Ironic? I think not!
I was working with a specific rep with this company and everything was fine. I placed an order over a week ago and found it odd to have not been contacted back after a couple days. I e-mailed my rep again, with no response. I called the company, who just has a generic number, and spoke with another rep. She first responded with, "We have all been very busy," which, as a customer service rep, should NEVER be something you tell a customer. So my time is not important? So that is an excuse to not DO YOUR JOB? I am also very busy and I do not have time to follow up on orders multiple times. She then asked me who my rep was (which I believe should have been her FIRST inquiry.) I told her my reps name and she then informed me that she no longer worked for the company. Does anyone check past employees' e-mails? How was I to know that she no longer worked there? Was anyone going to reach out to her current customers to inform them that their orders were not going to be submitted? She then informed me that Best Name Badges has over 200 pending orders currently, which again, is not something I want to hear about. I am a customer and the only order that I am interested in, is MINE. I am very disappointed with the service this company has offered, or lack there of. I just tried calling the plant manager, Sam, who I emailed after my phone conversation several days ago. He has not responded to my e-mail and was not available to speak to me on the phone. Again, the rep who answered the phone told me that they are "very busy." Too busy to resolved a current, paying customer's order in a timely manner?
This has been the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.

If you want professional business …order from Best Name Badges! #1 for business owners ✅✅

If you want professional business badges, order from Best Name Badges. There are some other companies that state their badges are strong and durable but just remember, you get what you pay for. I tried the cheap route one year and the badges only lasted one month. I wasted $272.00 on junk. Thank goodness I found this company through an internet search. Our employee badges are a bit old but they still look professional and they are magnetically staying on our shirts. The magnets are very durable! I love this company ❤️❤️❤️❤️
