Shocking Customer Servie
I placed order 82944 on 02/01/2026, a £1,374 purchase (electric air compressor and carbon fibre charging cylinder) with “Free Courier Delivery” listed as the shipping method. I was not informed at the point of ordering that FedEx would be used.
I waited in for two days expecting delivery, only to later discover that the order had not actually been delivered at all.
I spoke to Best Fittings and was explicitly told I would receive a call back after they had spoken to the courier. That call never happened, and no update was provided before their office closed.
Courier issues can happen, but the real problem here was poor communication and lack of follow-through. When a business commits to calling a customer back—particularly on a high-value order—that commitment reflects integrity and pride in customer service. In this case, that standard was not met.
Waiting in resulted in lost income, and there was no acknowledgement of that impact. Overall, the handling of this situation showed poor communication and a disappointing lack of ownership.
