Bernard Matthew’s mini turkey kievs. Not fit for Human consumption wouldn’t even give too my dog there just mush with breadcrumbs

Picked up some mini kievs from farmfoods today. Can’t believe they have changed the recipe what was once a lovely creamy garlicky Kiev is now grey mush and disgusting centre filling. So disappointing. I get cost cutting due to rising costs, increase price instead of changing recipe.

The Turkey Kiev's are horrible now, nothing like they used to be. I will not buy them ever again.

The new recipe mini Kiev is not only disappointing it it disgusting.. plain, mushy, smells of feet .. what have you done ?! Please revert to previous recipe my son loved them and he’s a fussy eater! Who ever made that decision should be sacked

Bernard Matthews used to be an all round family favourite. After spotting mini Kievs in the supermarket, I decided to give them a go after years.
What a shock, absolutely disgusting and a waste of money.
The meat is mushy and the centre filling is a tiny stain, they taste worst then terrible.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I used to love mini kievs , growing up eating them when going to visit my grandmother, but what have they actually done to them , the recipe they used before was absolutely delicious and I'm sure many people will agree , I bought them a week ago I was looking forward to having them ago , but what on earth they are absolutely disgusting, the coating is horrible, there is hardly any sauce , and the meat is disgusting. So so disappointed if they changed the recipe back I might try them again but I'm definitely not eating them , waste of money and awful

I have been eating mini kievs since I was a child, however they have slowly been going downhill the past few years, to the point they are now appalling. Very poor quality meat which is tasteless and the “creamy garlic sauce” isn’t the slightly bit garlicky or creamy but a weird tasting gel like substance.
So disappointing and I’m sad to say I won’t be buying anymore.
Also they used sell a bag if 15 proper mini kievs for £1.85, whereas now it’s 13 of these rip off versions for £2.25.
Extremely poor all round .

I used to love the mini kieves, would stock the freezer regularly but now I've got the newest packet and in one bit I'm put off! They're so mushy and soft and nothing like what a mini kieve should be, so disappointed.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. You can tell that the company just tried to go as cheap as possible and as a result made a ball of tasteless mwsh. It used to be so tasty and full of flavour. Shame on company- if it’s not broke don’t fix it!!

Completely changed recipe, just binned two bags they may as well took a dump in my mouth , absolutely disgusting me and my 4 kids use to eat these all the time never again, and on inspection they are now made in Poland
I hope they go bust I will never buy there products again

What can i say, Bernard Matthews you have certainly shot yourselves in the foot with this change. These were my go to for many years, sad to say i won't be buying no more. The recipe now is an odd taste & not pleasant at all. I tried 4 and was shocked on how much they changed, absolutely disgusting. Please go back to the old recipe...far far better.

My daughter and I used to love Bernard Matthews Turkey Kievs, but since the recipe change she refuses to eat them. They all went straight in the bin, and we won’t be buying them again. I tried one myself and it was genuinely awful. It’s disappointing that this new recipe has made it onto the shelves at all.

Ruined turkey kievs was my favourite after school tea as a kid now they’re disgusting tried them for the first time in a while and I chucked the full packet in the bin. No sauce and mushy with no flavour I couldn’t eat more than one bite

Bernard Matthews is nothing like it used to be! What happened to all their lovely food? What ever they use these days is absolutely disgusting. It makes me wonder, are they using human or dog meat etc?? That’s how bad this brand has become, their products are SCARY!!!

Utterly revolting. These have been our one and only go to family comfort food for 25 years+ and what Bernard Matthews have done to these is criminal. The amount of outer shell makes it more like a cake, there is a pea sized dribble of vomit smelling ‘garlic’ cream sauce of a completely different texture to what it was and a hideous mush of ‘turkey’ between. DO NOT BUY. It’s a sin to humankind and I am on a mission to bring back the once delicious balls of chicken garlic creaminess that punctuated my life!

Another review to add to the list of negative ones relating to the new recipe mini turkey kievs. These were a handy lazy staple in our house for my fussy kid. Bought them again last week and thought nothing of the new packaging. Boring but whatever. However on cooking these the outside crumb is lighter and tasteless, the meat is like sawdust and the filling is a gluey consistency instead of a creamy sauce. My daughter couldn’t manage half of one and when I tried it I had to spit it out. Vile. How disappointing.

Yet another bad review for the disgustingly gross mini Turkey kievs that I tried one of, promptly spat out and binned the rest of! What HAVE they done to something that was nice tasting and a regular buy? Put me off buying anything BM in the future. Never again!

Disgusting, disappointing and foul…

Turkey Kiev Balls?! What the hell happened? They don’t appear to have been anywhere near a turkey or garlic! New recipe is awful; mushy, bland and flavourless. My son used to love these. We’d buy 3 bags a week. 1st bag of new batch has gone in the bin and the 2 left in freezer will be returned.
