Great Staff, no pressure to buy and very helpful

two assistants were available for help and advice, so we were never left wandering around the shop.
Staff gave information on the more "technical" side of mattresses, which whilst not always understood, was helpful and interesting.
Although slow making a choice, we were never pressurized to place an order.
All the options, dates etc, regarding delivery were explained.
Paying the £1000 plus was kept simple, and made almost pleasant.

When I entered the store I was met by 3 assistants and I said 'I'm looking for a new bed' and the female said 'sorry we've sold out' which I found amusing and a lovely way to make me feel welcome and at ease. I was taken to see the 1 I had seen online and was invited to test it and a firm 1 to see which I preferred. I made my choice and was shown drawer bases and also the headboard I wanted. They didn't have the wardrobe I had been looking for but was shown a similar 1 by the same manufacturer. I was led to the desk where I was told about the 2 free mattress protectors and the 5 year warranty to cover damage for both items. Overall a very pleasant experience and a VERY warm and friendly team, well done Archer Rd branch.

Good communication throughout the waiting period. Bed frame was delivered on the specified date, within the time frame. Delivers were polite and efficient- one removed his shoes;the other wore shoe covers-nice to see such consideration.

Josephine was a great help...I have not bought a bed frame and mattress in years, so needed quite a bit of guidence and info on which bed to go for.Josephine gave me plenty of options and made the whole experience less daunting.

I told the young man what I was looking for. He was very helpful. I tried several beds before finding one that I liked. I didn’t buy the bed as I was in the process of deciding what type I wanted. He gave me a quote for the one I liked. I was very indecisive and thought I’d just leave it for a while. I got a phone call from the sales man a few weeks later telling me that there was a sale on and I would be able to make a saving if I was still interested. That was the clincher for me. I bought the bed the next day. The fact that somebody rang and wasn’t pushy made my mind up.

The staff member we dealt with was excellent. She was cheerful and professional throughout. Answering all of our questions and making sure that we understood.

We were given as much time as we wanted to try different mattresses. Narrowed it down to 3 and Shelley went through all the details of each whether to turn or not to turn etc and provided information on all 3. Returned 2 weeks later and placed an order with delivery in 4 weeks. Shelley could not have been more helpful.

Overall I thought the service was ok. The sales assistant wasn't pushy and gave us plenty of space to make a decision. He was knowledgeable in his field and gave us information to help us make an informed decision in our choice of bed and mattress.
We spent a lot of money and although we were given a couple of mattress protectors and a care kit, it would have been great for them to throw a couple of decent pillows in, that would have boosted my score on this occasion. I wasn't blown away by the experience, but it was ok.

We visited Bensons for Beds on Saturday the 4th March to look around for a suitable mattress for us, on looking around one of your salespersons ( Richard)
very pleasantly came to say Hello & could he help ....after asking what we were wanting he took us & explained very knowledgeably as to how each mattress was made + explaining how the different layers of toppings were made. He then left us to try the various mattress’s before we finally decided on our final choice... Richard was brilliant...never pushing... gave us all the answers to our questions & more ...It was such a pleasant experience buying our king size
Mattress ... & we received 100% 1st class service from a very kind & pleasant young Salespersons...

Had visited a couple more stores before arriving at Bensons. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, asked what we were looking for, guided to the products best suited to our needs and left to browse. No pressure by the salesman Lee. When we were ready we sat down and discussed our options,payment and delivery. Supplied with lots of useful advice in a friendly way. Left very happy. Our purchase if great and received good aftercare when we needed it - Thank you !

Great advice delivery process very smooth

Advisor was friendly and helpful and showed me all the options available despite my lack of experience and slight uncertainty in what I was looking for.

The store assistant was really helpful and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The bed we have chosen is lovely and we have been given our delivery date at the time of purchase, which is around 5 weeks.

Josephine at your Archer Lane, Sheffield, store. She couldn't have been more helpful, explanatory, patient and reassuring about what is, after all, a major purchase. Also Shelley, the manager, for her friendly and very approachable manner. After years of simply fretting about a new bed, we bought one within an hour thanks to the advice and reassurance we received.
