The member of staff we dealt with was extremely polite and helpful and made the purchase as smooth as it could have been.

Staff member welcomed me with a cheery hello.
I explained that I was looking for an ottoman bed. Steve let m see what he had in stock and was very helpful.
He printed of the details as wanted to discuss the bed at home with husband. Ordered bed the following day.

As soon as we went in to the shop.the staff came over and helped us out we picked out what we wanted the service was great time

Owing to a medical condition I needed a lower bed and went to Bensons for beds (Livingston) Steve gave me space to look around. After looking about Steve advised that a lower divan would be a better solution as a thinner mattress would not help the medical condition. The service was excellent and when I went back to order the bed, Jack dealt with the sale in a very professional manner. With my experience I would thoroughly recommend Bensons for Beds for their excellent customer service

Very knowledgeable and informative sales woman

My wife and I visited the store early in the day, when we were the only customers. The sales person tested our sleep positions to gauge how firm our mattresses should be. She then guided us to several several mattresses with different spring 'counts', layers of foam, with or without gel etc. We lay on these to test them and tried several pillows, so this process took quite a while. After making our choices, the sales person carefully reviewed a long list of criteria with us, including warranties, to check that we were buying exactly what we wanted. We also discussed and agreed a date for delivery, and how this could be altered if necessary. (We were aware of discounted prices before visiting the store, so felt confident about getting value for money.)

Zero stars, Mattress cost nearly £1,000, within 7 months, had hollow and dip in the middle, reported, had a visit and received replacement mattress. Same thing within 8 months hollow and dip in the middle. Have been told mattress should be rotated - no, the mattress is too heavy to move, so rotated me, slept at head, then foot of bed. Still trying to get reply and need a refund. Mattress not fit for purpose.
Update I have not been contacted, the reply from Benson is not correct 20Aug, 21.21hrs

Very helpful staff patient and friendly. We went through different options in the Lorenzo bedroom furniture. Went home we discussed what would suit the room then returned and ordered what we wanted. Easy process now waiting for it to arrive in next 5/6 weeks

Super helpful staff. Excellent product knowledge. Let me browse and ask loads of questions before decided on a bed frame. Will be back for a mattress next month!

FIRST CLASS SERVICE. The staff (Nadia/Livingston) helped us choose a mattress and was so patient , friendly and efficient at her job.
The company are great communicaters.

We had a great experience in your Livingston store recently thanks to Jack. He was very knowledgeable and patient. We ended up buying a new double mattress for us and also 2 twins for both children. We are very looking forward to receive them.

There was a great range of beds to choose from, the bensons for beds employee (Jack) was really helpful. We didn’t feel pushed at all as we have received in other shops, he was very patient with us to choose the right bed for us. He had a lot of knowledge about the beds and that helped us pick the bed of our chosen.

Jack was fantastic in telling us everything we needed to know and helping us with any questions I had. He was very friendly and was understanding of our kids being with us, nothing was too much for him. He was very cautious of my younger child getting upset and worked through the process quickly and professionally making sure we had all the right information.

Help very knowledgable and helpful. I asked about delivery and taking away old mattress and informed 50 pounds for recycling. I assumed that amount included delivery. Paid amount asked for and latter realised that charged extra 39 pounds for delivery not mentioned previously. My fault for not checking but had I realised this payment I probably would not have ordered and looked for a better deal elsewhere as this was first shop visited. After an excellent experience in shop this was a disappointing aspect!
