Myself and my husband recently purchased a new mattress from the Biggleswade store and was so pleased with the customer service we recieved from Sultan. He listened to what problems I was having sleeping because of my back issues and instantly was able to guide us to a few types of mattresses that he felt would be the most suitable. He gave us time and space to try out and discuss our opinions. There was no time restraints or pressuring us which was so appreciated as for us it was not only a major health issue purchase but a big financial one also. We will definitely be using bensons for beds at Biggleswade again for any future bedroom furniture purchases and will be recommending to our family and friends.

The salesman made it easy to find the right mattress for us were both side sleepers and needed a firm mattress.

I have never ever known a company as bad as this. They are completely and utterly shocking. Not only do I feel completely hounded every time I go in the shop, they do not take their eyes off you to browse at your own leisure. I bought a bed and waited over 6 months for it to arrive and I finally gave up when they cancelled on me again! They gave me a goodwill gesture for my inconvenience and then when I went to spend it, they wouldn’t allow it because I had previously cancelled my bed order! They are a joke. Do not ever buy from bensons.

Staff members were lovely, helped us to decide what bed suited better my disabilities, with the mattress they told us to take our time and try different options, as it was a big investment. We decided to buy a tempur mattress together with a new bed, from start to finish they were attentive and kind. Thanks for a great experience.

The range of beds, styles and fabric choices was excellent plus Sultan, the manager, was highly knowledgeable and patient. He made the purchasing experience relaxed and gave us a good deal too.

The assistant was very helpful. I knew what style of bed I wanted and what mattress I wanted. He showed me the different styles of bed and I tried the mattress I liked. Friendly snd I got a good price

Product was in stock so no waiting 6 weeks. Very straightforward transaction.

Whilst out shopping for the day an hour from home I bought a dunlopillo pillow at £99.99. After 2 days use on changing the pillowcase the removable pillow cover ( that comes with the pillow and covers the latex insert) seam came apart. I tried to return to my local store to be told by the manager the minute you stepped outside a Benson for Beds store the product was no longer their ( the store) problem but my ( the customers) problem. He told me they don't sell defective products, suggesting the fault was mine and if I contacted customer services they would assess wether the alleged fault was a manufacturing fault or not. He even suggested that it was my responsibility to unpack the product in store to check it was suitable for sale or not before I purchased it. If these stores were franchises I would better understand his attitude but they are company owned. Customer services rang the store I bought it from who agreed to exchange, which they did. However this wasted two hours of my life and cost me in petrol to replace a faulty product. Shocking customer service.

Sultan was very patient, friendly and helpful as I was choosing a mattress at the Biggleswade store. I was there over two hours trying lots of mattresses and asking lots of questions, all of which were answered in detail. I finally chose my mattress and walked away happy and very satisfied. Nothing was too much trouble for Sultan and the other staff were equally as friendly and chatty.

Excellent service from Manager in Biggleswade store, who I understand has now moved on. Great deal offered on an expensive purchase. Delivery drivers Janis & Chichi very helpful and delivered to bedroom with no issues.

We were left alone to peruse, when we did need service, the gentleman was polite informative and not pushy, he answered all our questions. We purchased a mattress sorted out delivery very quickly. Prefect buying experience.

I was warmly greeted by Mohamed Hanif at the Biggleswade store and I said I was looking for a new mattress. He asked a few questions, showed me around 8-10 mattresses that he thought would be suitable (at varying price ranges), each time kindly encouraging me to try them out to see if I found them comfortable. He then asked if I would like some time to look around/to try any others, and assured me that he would be more than happy to help if I needed him. I tried many more mattresses, but in the end opted for one that Mohamed had suggested at the very start! The level of service I received was fantastic and I was grateful to receive all the information I needed, as well as the space, time and freedom to browse (and test mattresses) at my leisure. I also spoke with Mohamed's supervisor, Mumin Ahmed, who was equally kind, friendly, courteous and patient. I did not feel pressured into buying anything at any time, I would highly recommend the Biggleswade store and I hope that Bensons for Beds will read this review and take the time to thank their staff members for their support.
