I placed an order of items for my Daughter's birthday a week ago and the order still has not shipped. I went online to request order cancellation and the virtual assistant said I only had 15 mins after order placement to cancel. I called customer service and spoke to a human today and she told me that the order is still being assembled and has not shipped. I asked her to cancel the order please since it has not shipped or even boxed for shipment. She told me the order cannot be cancelled, I will have to wait for the product arrival and then take everything into a store for a refund. That is absolutely ridiculous... It didnt even take a week to ship out during COVID, what is the hold up and why cant it be canceled?

I am filing this complaint regarding an unresolved refund and pricing issue with Bath & Body Works.

My original order included several items. I picked up two items in store, while the remaining items were shipped. The package was damaged in transit and returned before it was ever delivered to me.

After contacting customer service multiple times, I was eventually told that I could place a replacement order and that Bath & Body Works would honor the original discounted prices from my first order. I was also told that the difference would be refunded to me.

Based on the agreement and the pricing, I should receive approximately $147 back. However, Bath & Body Works is now saying that they will refund only about $90, and I have not been given a clear explanation for the missing amount.

There were also discrepancies between the invoice total and the individual item prices, which made the situation even more confusing.

I have contacted customer service several times and have repeatedly had to explain the same situation from the beginning. Despite all of these conversations, the issue remains unresolved.

Desired Resolution

I am requesting that Bath & Body Works:

1. Review the full history of my original and replacement orders.
2. Honor the pricing agreement that was made by customer service.
3. Refund the full amount owed to me, approximately $147, rather than the approximately $90 currently being offered.
4. Provide a clear written breakdown explaining how the final refund amount was calculated.

This issue has already taken a significant amount of my time, and I would appreciate a prompt and fair resolution.

Warning to customers planning on using the Rewards Program, Caveat Emptor…Buyer Beware!!!!
When you attempt to use your $18.95 reward on Emailed “sales”, the full retail price is applied to the first item…the sale price is only applied to additional items. Definitely a “bait & switch” deal.
Also, the wallflower scent holders leak & drip gooey liquids.

Bath and Body Works system update autogenerated and autofilled a "new" email for my 5yr old account. I called to fix the issue and was told that they do not have a way to update email addresses, that I would need to delete my account and set up a new account losing all of the reward points accumulated and disrupting the current $123 order that may or may not be refunded in 10-12 weeks AFTER it's projected delayed delivery date and return is processed. What a scam! This creates a severe security breach. Whoever actually has the email their system generated and auto filled now has access to my account and payment information. This will be the last time I shop at Bath and Body Works. The hassle and risk is not worth it.

Bath and body works why would you come out with such a hot collection of nightmare before Christmas and not have enough for at least everyone to get something: my biggest disappointment is I order the candle holder on line first thing this morning and you guys waited to the afternoon to fill my order just to disappoint me by telling me the candle holder I wanted was sold out. So wrong!! And to the people out there reselling these items for 10 times more you truly suck!!!!

Would give them a zero if I could. It’s bad enough that their stuff is overpriced but it’s a piss off when they just dropped a collaboration collection and they sold out with an hour. Lost me as a customer. They need to do better!!

Horrible customer service. I went in which I thought would be a quick pick up online order. Waited forever in line and another employee came up with a customer and took her. I told her I was next and she said but she has an online order. I said so do I. She said but she came and got me. So it's still fair to take her begore me when I've been patiently waiting? Never again bath and body!

As user of the home wall plugins for many years I can't even begin to express my disappointment in the downward quality of the plugins. They have become extremely expensive and the company no longer allows use of reward points to purchase. The scent bulbs leak and I now have 2 spots on my trim where they have dripped and taken the finish off the trim. I accidentally sat one down on a table when I unplugged it an now there is a spot on the wooden table. Again so disappointed. I will be moving on the a different company. I highly recommend PUR if anyone is looking for an excellent quality product.

I ordered 2 candles and a "fine fragrance mist" body spray called WARM VANILLA SUGAR and boy did it deliver!
I have no idea how they got vanilla to smell so caustic and dreadful that it literally burnt my nasal passages as I inhaled a scent that reminded me of someone who hadn't bathed in weeks and a I mean they're lower posterior, and a sweet like death smell of decayed flesh, dowsed in vanilla bleach.
How the dared market this to ANYONE as body spray is madness.
I WAS ABOUT to return it when I found and ingenious use for it though.
I've been plagued by fruit flies recently and while im waiting on the grocer to deliver poison for the dreaded things, they're becoming quite fond of the spray! I spray it on a napkin and they swarm it and I cant swat them quite nicely!

Just popped into Bath and Bodyworls store Changi, for some bath bits, Bath bombs, bubble bath etc. They dont sell any bath bits. Why is it called Bath and Body works then???? Another store i wont be visiting again.

So I just wanted to let you know that the deep ocean body spray is not available in any branch of yours and a lot of people that I know liked it alot so the motive of this comment is to bring back deep ocean body spray.

I've always had great experiences with Bath & Body works. I normally order online when they offer the 75% off deals and on the one time I received damaged product, the customer service dept. refunded the product right away... no issues. I wish they would have more sales, the product is good, but the prices are getting higher than most of their competition.

I love the fragrance of this product because it smells so mild and fresh and clean Upon entering the bathroom without even squirting the bottle You can smell the cleansing effects of the home Once activating with water you just simply rub your hands together and it lathers so easily There's no residual there's no afterwards there's no spillage; it just pours out . So sit back rest and relax and rewind !

Dont waste your money, the plug-ins are made so cheap nowadays that they break within a month! Plus they are more expensive now. Absolutely trash now.

Quality decreases as prices go up.
Candles are sometimes loose in the jar.
Too expensive and you have less customers because the candles smell great and burn out quickly. Very disappointed.

bath & body works used to be my go-to
they got rid of all the good fragrances all the good smells poor horrible smells
today was the last day for me I purchased a couple of candles from Amazon people may say that's a no no but for me it's a win-win it smells the same it's the same packaging and everything so from now on Amazon is my go-to for my candles all the candles that bath & body works no longer have that's my favorites Amazon have them

The company has very seriously degraded in the quality of their products, and the quality of their customer service. I have spent so much time today on the phone trying to connect and get an issue resolved. If anybody understands you, you don't understand them. I then went to the website . There's no place on the website where you can email them. You have to go through the chat instead, and that would be great if it worked well. So much for reliability. I used to love Bath & Body, with their rich fragrances and lotions, but sadly all you get is an alcohol and chemical concoction. The term 'mediocrity' seems kind. If you request a refund and ask if you're getting a FULL refund they will say yes, but then when you get the email it is only a portion they're actually granting you. So much for trustworthiness. after this latest fiasco, I am permanently canceling my account and will do no further business with this 'has-been' company. VERY disappointing.

I had the worst experience today with the Bath & Body Works Plaza location in Kansas City, MO.

I called the store regarding my online order, and my interaction with the store manager, Ronnie, was extremely disappointing. I found him to be rude, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the conversation. During the call, I was shocked and deeply offended by what I understood to be a racial slur directed at me. No customer should ever be treated in that manner.

To make matters worse, when I contacted Bath & Body Works customer service for assistance, I was told they couldn’t cancel my online order or even contact the store on my behalf to request the cancellation. I was left feeling completely unheard and unsupported.

This experience has left me disgusted, hurt, and extremely disappointed. I have been a customer, but after the way I was treated, I will not be shopping at Bath & Body Works again. I sincerely hope the company investigates this matter and takes customer concerns seriously so no one else has to experience what I did.

Customer Service STINKS....ALL OVERSEAS. No one does anything to help you ~ they love to argue and ignore what you ask them to do!

I would ask what happened to this place. But we all know. They cut corners. I remember back in the day early 2000s and earlier you could go to this place and buy the best perfumes. Perfumes that would last for two days. But now you buy a perfume you put it on, and an hour later it’s gone. You literally have to go make your own to get a long lasting perfume anymore. It’s like the candles, they were $12. And now they’re 25 buy one get one free. You’re literally still paying $12. And the candles got smaller. I guess everything is subject to the economy, it just really sucks because this was my go to place. Now I have to find perfume elsewhere.
