Still not received my order yet

Still not received my order yet.
Keeps promising it’s out fud delivery, even got a time.
Waited in and then had a message in the evening to say sorry the driver missed us!!????
We were in in fact we saw one of the vans drive by not even slowing down to check the address.
Said it would be here today, now thd up date is it is still at the glen field depot. ??
It with have been perfect to have been delivered on the 18th as promised, now it us going to be the 22nd?? I gave to Jake a special journey now to deliver it!! Not very happy.
Amazon can still deliver on time at Christmas!!???

Rubbish Customer Service

Second year in a row the birthday cake arrived late. Last year when i complained i was promised a replacement cake but no replacement cake was sent. This year when i complained i was promised a refund of the delivery charge but 2 weeks on and no refund given. I will never use them again. Useless company and a waste of time complaining. They just blame the delivery company and take no responsibility for the service they give.

Great design, mediocre cake

The design was perfect for what we needed. The cake itself was mediocre, a little dry and not very tasty. That might have been because it arrived two days before I asked for it to be delivered
(though was still eaten within the best before period). The delivery driver threw the box over the gate on its side but the cake was well packaged, so no damage.

Delivery of the cake was great

Nice design, but poor taste

Nice design - exactly what I ordered. Well and safely delivered. However, the cake itself wasn't fresh and it's taste/quality was quite poor.

Disappointed ☹️

We ordered a 50th birthday cake for our daughter to be delivered on a set date came 3 days earlier in a damaged box so we checked cake which was supposed to WHITE but was an off blue.Also slightly out of shape.Did not complain as the cake was still moist and eatable.Would not use company again considering the price we paid bit disappointed.

Very good customer service

I had occasion to order a complimentary replacement cake when the original cake arrived very late (due to courier not Baker Days). I dealt with Armin who was hugely helpful, very polite and professional and sorted the order for me. The cake itself was lovely. Great personal customer service.

Gluten free cake

I ordered a gluten free cake for my son’s 1st birthday. It arrived on time which was great, however the cake was the worst I’ve ever had, the sponge was a strange consistency & it was very dry. I paid a lot of money for it but most of it ended up in the bin, I was very disappointed!

Return user. Pros and cons

I have used bakerdays 4 times now and I will probably still use them in the future for the following reasons:
1. No disappointments: you get your cake as scheduled.
2. Wide range of choices in terms of cake art, photo art, etc.
3. Loads of promos and discounts usually available.
4. Delivery packaging: Although you’d have loads of recyclable materials to dispose of afterwards, you’re sure that your cake would arrive in one piece.
What could they improve on?
The size! The cakes are quite small. If they tell you it can feed up to 55 people, don’t get your hopes up, those 55 people would need to take a bite each - literally!
The cost. Delivery fee, especially on weekend is expensive. The cake itself is also expensive.
Other than that, they’re great. Customer service is good too.

Very disappointed with this company

Very disappointed with this company, have always used them in previous years and as far as I'm aware, deliveries were made on time and actually arrived.
We had claimed quite a few reward points from the large orders we had placed in the past, so we decided to use them.
The first order did not arrive on the day requested. I had to chase, left various messages, then someone did eventually call me back and told me they would be in contact within the next hour and they didn't. Continued to chase, the order arrived 3 days later. I understand things go wrong, but communication goes a long way.
Second order that was placed on the same day for the following week, never arrived, have called and left a message, sent emails. Had a response to say they tried to deliver the package twice and they had trouble contacting to you. They left a calling card at the location for updates.
We are a company; there is always someone here, not once did anyone make contact. We also have an answering machine; no messages were left. No order has arrived.
I believe the company have a problem with who they use for their delivery, which is a shame as it will affect the company's reputation

Birthday cake

My birthday cake went to the wrong address and when I found it it was damaged. This was probably down to the courier and not Bakers Days.
However the cake was delicious.
I was offered a refund and dealt with somebody called Armin who was polite and really helpful so grateful for that.

Unexpectedly surprised!

I ordered a cake from BakerDays about 3 weeks in advance. After placing my order, I came across some of the negative reviews and started to worry a bit.. but I decided to have faith and see how it went.

The delivery arrived right on time at 10am (I’d paid for delivery before 1:30pm), and I also ordered two helium balloons. When I opened the box, I was actually surprised.. everything looked great! The cake looked amazing and was beautifully presented. The only disappointment was the balloons, which were completely different designs from what I’d ordered. I was sticking to a colour scheme for a party, so that was a bit of a letdown. I contacted customer service and spoke with Armin by email, he was polite and helpful, and assured me I’ll receive a refund for both balloons. The only thing I found a little unreasonable was the 20–30 day refund window, but we’ll see how that goes???

Now, back to the cake, it was lovely! I’d seen a few people say theirs were dry, but that wasn’t the case for us at all. It was fresh, soft, and really moist (sorry, I know some people hate that word lol) I ordered the chocolate flavour, and while it could’ve had a bit more of a cocoa kick, it was still very tasty and everyone enjoyed it.

Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised and happy with the cake, just wish the balloons had matched the design I chose! 🎈
