The gift "Gold Tower" was bascially as it said it would be, but if im honest i didnt think the presentation was spectacular inside the boxes, and i was also very unimpressed that my best friends didnt get their Birthday goodies untill 6p.m. - Birthday was almost over, for special occasions deliveries should be a.m. - But anyway very glad they received a gift and hopefully they will enjoy every mouthful, thankfully it did arrive all in one piece with nothing broken, grateful for that. Received a cannoli cake for a birthday
Received a cannoli cake for a birthday. We were not impressed by the taste. It was a good looking cake. Originally coming from Long Island with incredible cannoli cream and cakes we were not happy with this cake. The cannoli cream was thick and dry. Also it had a thin layer of cream. Not much of a taste. The cake was dense. The cake was small. Packaged well. I decided to look up this company and was shocked of how much they charge for cakes. Way too expensive. They charge alot for shipping and handling. The cakes on the website look good but did not live up to our standards. Lower your cake prices. They are not worth those prices.

Bake me a Wish aka Bake me a Disappointment
The Bake me a Wish site says pick your delivery day for the day before you need it and guarantees delivery for that date. I paid extra for shipping and still did not have a cake for my moms birthday party. By the time the cake did arrive with a melted ice pack I didn't even want it anymore. I should have read reviews prior to ordering. Never again.
Update; Bake me a Wish did reach out to me with the option of a store credit, for the cake to be shipped again at no cost to me or a refund. I chose a refund. I was told it would be in my account in three to five days, that email was sent to me weeks ago. I never received a refund. I normally would not have complained or taken a refund, but with a service providing cakes for events, the most important aspect is that the cakes are delivered on time. As you can see from the reviews, cakes are not being delivered on time, this company cares about money not people. My belief is they are charging for expensive "expedited" shipping, using regular shipping, and skimming the shipping money for themselves. I used to work for a publishing company that did this. No refund was received.
