On March 14, 2026, when I was claiming my baggage at Nassau Airport, I discovered that two of the four bags I had paid handsomely to check in were damaged—one completely unusable, and the other, new, dented.
I did everything they asked me to request a refund at the airport, but so far, the only thing they've offered me is a discount on my next flight with Bahamasair, which I will clearly never use again.
I would like to know if there's anything I can do to get the refund I'm entitled to.
I'm attaching the correspondence I exchanged with the airline and the documentation I received.
