Excellent and professional battery change service with honest advice

I have always used Bablas for my watch battery replacement. This time I needed a watch service (I have had the watch over 15 years). I had no idea of the complexity of the job and did not read the advice given to me by Bablas which was for several weeks. Totally my fault - but kept in touch with them nervously especially with my holiday looming. The team pulled out all the stops and I received my fully serviced watch (in fabulous condition) some 5 weeks early. I cannot thank them enough and would never go to anyone else for any jewellery requirements. Well done to all of your team.

I visited Bablas for a 90 minute battery change for my 30 year old basic Longines quartz. I was advised it would cost £50 to test its electronics and splash protection and change the battery. Apparently Longines accredited, I trusted that my £50 would be well spent, if only for the reassurance that all was ok with the watch. Sure enough, 90 minutes later and with £50 less in my bank account, I was told all was well with the electronics and that the battery had been changed. I was also told to avoid anything more than accidental occasional splashes with water.
I'm writing the review to say that Bablas were charming, charged what they said they would and gave me my watch back as promised 90 minutes later.
I did not get any report as such, rather a brief mention that the electronics were ok on my receipt.
Be aware that this is very much a situation in which you, as the customer, must trust what Bablas tells you about your treasured item. I chose to do so. Time will tell if my trust is well judged and well placed. I sincerely hope so - because I could have got a battery change for a fiver in any number of more local retailers. Let's hope they are as expert as they advertise they are.

I had a gold ring which had worn thin over the years and was fractured in two places, leaving it unfit to wear.
I took it to Babla's and they gave me a detailed explanation of what they could do, together with an estimate.
I accepted the estimate and I collected my ring today. I am absolutely delighted with the result!! Not only does the repair look seamless, but they also cleaned/polished it so that it looks like new. (It was a gift in 1975).
I thoroughly recommend Babla's for their professional service and the quality of their workmanship.

What a brilliant service! I was looking to get a new battery and reseal for my husband's Omega watch. I had tried many other places but all had long delays and seemed unduly expensive. What great service. I ordered a watchstrap that had been virtually impossible to find anywhere else. Ordered it online at 3pm and it arrived first class delivery the following morning.

Had a very bad experience. Paid £40 for putting a new strap in the watch and it didn’t work even for one day. It got broken the next day. Went to the shop and after 10 mins of arguing shopkeeper agreed to change it. But the new strap broke again the same day. Dont know wha quality of straps they use. £40 for a strap and it doesn’t work for a single day.

communication was excellent, the watch was very well packed and received as per promise. Whilst in their care they cleaned and repaired it what's not to like......

I sent my Gucci watch for a new battery & service to Bablas. Their customer service is excellent, with clear communication.
They sent me a message with the recommended repair and costs, which were very reasonable.

They said it would be 8 to 10 weeks to repair, so I was pleasantly surprised when they emailed after 6 weeks to say it was ready to be returned.
I received it this morning, well packaged and good as new.

My lovely self-winding watch disappeared for a few weeks but when it came back it was like new. I am very pleased with the service and communication from Bablas.

I ordered a Michael Kors watch strap to have fixed to the watch face. It came really quickly however I couldn't find anywhere that could fit it so I sent it back to have it fixed and it was done very quickly. Also really appreciate that they replied within 24 hours any time I had a query.

I purchased a watch, but because it didn’t say that the transaction was complete, it just said my basket was empty,I redid the order when the same thing happened again. I checked my bank account and noticed two payments.I contacted my bank who didn’t really help. The next morning 1watch arrived. I rang the number on the delivery sheet and explained my concerns that I had purchased two watches. A very nice gentleman explained that they had noticed the two transactions close together and had only sent 1 watch. So really you had sorted the issue before I even questioned it. So I would just like to say a big thank you,very efficient.if only all customer service was like this,exemplary service.

I needed a watch band for my gucci watch. I couldn't seem to find any reasonable priced ones in the us so after looking online i found Babla's jeweler's. Sure enough they had exactly what i needed with such a great price i ordered two. Shipping only took about 10 days.so worth the wait . This place rocks i couldn't be happier..

So helpful when I had an issue with my watch which they resolved with the manufacturer on my behalf. It's really comforting to know good customer service practices still exist. Well done Babla's

I received the best customer service ever and I needed a new leather watch strap for my Gucci watch. Bablas arranged collection, delivery and kept in contact with me as I am in isolation at present.
