I've been running a small VM hosting personal projects on Atlantic.Net's cloud since 2017. In December 2025, my memory requirements had outgrown my VM. I clicked the 'resize' button to move to the next largest size, but the automated process got stuck. For the very first time I had to contact support. They had my VM back up and running inside a couple of hours and completely resolved the issue by the end of the day -- on December 31st!

I appreciated being able to get a hold of an actual person on the first try. While initial contact couldn't help me with my problem, they were very patient and helpful with making sure I had a ticket created with the correct problem statement and that I was able to receive my ticket number. We were down for a couple hours and hadn't received a call back so I called back in and they apologized for the escalation tech who had been tied up but the second tech took a stab at my issue and was able to resolve it. It's nice to know that when I call in to support that it's not just a call center that you actually get a support tech that may be able to help even if it may end up in escalation.

After I signed up with a credit card, they made me verify the transaction and then had to wait a long time to receive the next verification email, not the email that the account was activated. They asked for a driver's license, passport, etc., and then waited again. In the end, what they did was refuse with the reason not to disclose because of rotten security and I was asked to continue waiting 5 to 7 business days to receive the transaction amount. 1 round of getting perfect user information, I had to do the above steps with a total time of more than 24 hours and the result was 0 and consider my information taken by them

The registration process at Atlantic.net has been extremely disappointing. I submitted every required document exactly as requested, yet my account still wasn’t approved with no clear explanation given. The entire onboarding flow feels overly complicated and unclear, making the experience frustrating.
It honestly feels like a complete waste of time. For a VPS provider that claims to be professional, the verification process should be transparent, straightforward, and user-friendly.
Dont waste your time. U should use another provider.

I can hardly believe I’m writing this, but yes—there’s finally a technology company that truly cares about people, not just as customers or end-users. Yes, it’s true! They genuinely put the person first, and their dedication floors me. They Rock!

I signed up, and wanted to try out their services. This comes with a $250 free credit offer, which was interesting. After signing up my account with my valid credit card credentials, I had to confirm the amount that was deposited to my credit card which I did. Now I was told by email that there was fraud detected on my newly made "account" and in order to PROTECT my account for possible abuse, I was required to provide a self-portrait holding a valid form of photo identification matching the name on file for the account I made, along with the number XXXXX on a piece of paper. Which I did, uploaded it to their site. After roughly 30 minutes I receive a reply stating: "Upon conducting a thorough review, we are unable to approve this new account. For security purposes, we cannot provide any additional details or clarification regarding this decision." I provided my state issued identification to verify and went through the whole process only to get rejected to even have an account. Regardless if it was to try out their services, I would have deposited money myself to try out Atlantic. I've never seen such practices anywhere and for this they deserve a bad review.
